  1. No, that is early traditional dining. 2 traditional seatings typically 5:30 & 8. MTD begins around 6:45. You can make MTD reservations in advance or just show up at the MTD venue which is on deck 3. You or your TA can call & request a switch to late traditional seating. If there is room, they’ll switch you.
  2. Sugar free ginger ale for me too. I also agree the can is better than fountain but for me the difference is syrupy (fountain) versus crisp (can). The ratio of syrup to carbonated water in a fountain drink is off to me.
  3. And I was making $7.50 an hour.
  4. Thank you. I was thinking more of the shuttle driver knowing where to drop us off. I’m sure we can handle it, thanks everyone 😘
  5. Nothing showing as yet that I can find. But Symphony is there that day too so I’m going to assume Terminal G. Thanks all!
  6. Thanks now that totally makes sense’
  7. Ok got it back to Day 1 but I don’t see any mention of terminal, just on board tips. Maybe it’s too early?
  8. My blue bar says “Last Day - how to prepare for your departure” 🤷‍♀️
  9. How will I know which terminal I’ll be boarding from?? Explorer 10/29/22
  10. That’s what I don’t understand. How does a late move fill vacancies? Say you get moved the day before you sail, there isn’t time to resell your vacated room. In my case, they would have just given me access to the concierge lounge and unlimited happy hour and my old JS is now empty. What am I missing? NOT that I would turn it down!!!
  11. Funny that Royal up’s happen that close. Perhaps I don’t understand the concept. I assumed the program was designed to free up rooms Royal could reasonably expect to be able to sell again while getting a few bucks more for ones they thought they couldn’t. I would think 2 days before sailing, the chance of selling the lower category room would be slim to none. I guess, depending on the bid, it’s still more revenue. But seems kinda pointless.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
  12. Had DPB on Harmony in March and received a can of ginger ale from every bar I went to. Never a question & never offered a fountain drink instead. YMMV
  13. I always have to enter my name & reservation number twice to get it to work even though I’ve already got a bid in. We are currently in a JS on Explorer. I’ve bid just over minimum on an OS. Prior to my bid, suites were sold out. Last week, 2 OS appeared. Today those 2 are still there & there are now JS gty available. I optimistically see this as a good sign.
  14. No additional gratuities on anything included with the cruise fare ie; complementary food and drinks but they will add gratuity to ANY on board purchase. If you purchase a dining or beverage package, gratuities are added at time of purchase. If you make the purchases individually, each purchase will have 18% gratuities added.
  15. Going without this trip. I struggled in March (when the price with gratuities was $71 per day) to get what I perceived to be my money’s worth. I don’t drink smoothies or specialty coffees, had a few waters but also found the ship’s water tasted perfectly fine, maybe 1 soda per day. By day 4 I was ordering drinks I really didn’t want. Will be Diamond after this cruise so the vouchers will be plenty.
  16. That’s about right. With gratuities, mixed drinks run about $15 per.
  17. Does chapstick contain one of the restricted ingredients? Check the label! Make sure your sunscreen does not contain the following harmful substances on the "HEL list: Oxybenzone Octinoxate Octocrylene Homosalate 4-methylbenzylidene camphor PABA Parabens Triclosan Any nanoparticles or “nano-sized” zinc or titanium (if it doesn’t explicitly say “micro-sized” or “non-nano” and it can rub in, it’s probably nano-sized) Any form of microplastic, such as “exfoliating beads”
  18. Not sure how to respond to that so maybe I shouldn’t. 🫢
  19. The point is to protect the eco system not “if nobody looks, I can get away with it”
  20. Just ordered zinc oxide sticks for our ABC cruise. Seems to be the only actual reef friendly sunscreen. Every other type has one of the reef damaging “O” ingredients in it. We’ll be snorkeling in Bonaire so I felt it was important to have the right product.
  21. We are on Explorer in 27 days for the same “get to Diamond” reason. My rule is nothing without a Royal Promenade.
  22. If all you want is water and an occasional soda, I wouldn’t buy a package at all. The water they serve tastes fine & you can pay as you go for soda. Unless you are interested in specialty coffees, mock tails or smoothies, the Refreshment package is not worth the money. You will have access to ice water, lemonade, iced tea, milk, coffee probably a few juices at no additional cost.
  23. True but since you specifically referenced cholesterol as the reason you were looking for seafood, I wanted to be sure you knew your desire to “mainly look for Maine lobster & steak” would not be the best choice.
