  1. You might get more responses if you use a form of your inquiry as the title of the post instead of your name.
  2. Murphys Law: me standing behind the extended family of ten while the planner in the group scrolls left right left again to find the correct seapass to show for each person and; me standing in line to get a drink behind the guy who left his phone with his wife and starts screaming “honey, what’s our cabin number?!!!”
  3. So can you just get a physical picture??
  4. Well my cruise planner is back up after 4/5 hours of being down. DBP back to $72.99 just like every other lousy sale.
  5. Bechamel which is a white sauce. Not sure what it’s doing on lasagna.
  6. And all default to the higher price at check out. Sounds like a dreaded call will have to be made.
  7. I have the same issue with the DBP on 3 linked reservations. It said $62.99 but only came up that price on one of the three. The other 2 were $72.99 once you put it in the cart. Now the advertised price keeps bouncing between the 2 & always shows the higher when I try to check out. Just so darn frustrating!
  8. We have 3 reservations linked on Harmony in May. Drink package for all rooms listed at $62.99 a great sale. BUT if I click on it, 2 rooms come up $72.99 and only 1 shows $62.99? Am I crazy?
  9. Lasagna al Forno which apparently means strips of pasta, ground meat and no discernible tomato sauce or ricotta cheese. Nothing like any lasagna I’ve ever made. Hubby took a couple bites & ordered extra appetizers.
  10. Yes, that’s what the “guns” look like but beer is still not dispensed from a soda gun. Only the various types of soda ie; coke, Diet Coke, ginger ale, sprite etc, come out of those guns. What I have found is sometimes the ratio of soda water to syrup is off, especially as a tank runs dry. That can make the taste “off”.
  11. Just on her and she needs a serious overhaul. Sitting on my balcony was like being in a rusted out tin can. The windows on the balcony were filthy and whose idea was it to use green tinted windows?!? Why would you want a tinted view of the beautiful blue ocean? Tiny bar areas and only 1 with TVs. Packed in like sardines (in a rusty tin can) trying to watch the World Series. Only area I really liked was the Solarium and I have the tan to prove it!
  12. True but without the DBP, I brought my own wine & only bought one drink per day. If we had a punch card or something that gave us 3 drinks a day, we’d drink more and they’d have the revenue from the card. We could easily have had 2 more drinks each per day. So instead of charging me $50ish plus tip each for a set number of drinks, we only spent $14 plus tip each.
  13. There are many places, even here in New England, where you can buy or order just the tails. The meat from the claws and bodies can be used in other ways including being sold as is.
  14. I’ve had many a bartender pour into the jigger & then continue pouring as they dump it in the glass. Not always & not every bar but certainly often enough to notice.
  15. True but that was an on board, later in the cruise kind of card. I mean another precruise option.
  16. Hubby & I were just talking about a limited drink package. Maybe something like the coffee card. A set price for a set number of drinks. I think this is an untapped revenue stream. DBP is more than I can drink. No DBP means I drink less than I might want. A card with X number of drinks would be a much better fit for me.
  17. Who is John Galt? sorry, for reference I just read Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged on my cruise. Google it.
  18. I thought it was odd on Explorer earlier this month that drink purchases often didn’t show on our account until the next day! I kept track in my head but it certainly didn’t show in the app for a long time.
  19. Strip steak? OHHHH, you mean the shoe leather they brought hubby. It was awful!! MDR in general on Explorer was meh. A couple of absolute winners but also several losers and the rest pretty mediocre.
  20. Still not fresh Maine lobster. Like off the boat, into the pot, on the tray fresh
  21. That lobster isn’t. If you want SPECIAL lobster, you have to go to Maine. The stuff they serve on board is awful.
  22. Last week on Explorer with MTD for 6:45-7 each night. No/short waits every night. Hostess knew us and our table by night 3 and would either just wave us through or ask if we wanted a different table if ours was still in use. We always waited for our table, never more than 10 minutes. I have not experienced the lines spoken of here on either of my cruises this year.
  23. Was the Lava Flow perhaps the drink of the day? Those are now $12 plus gratuity.
  24. Yes, but overprotective as I am, some of those places are a little scary/creepy to me. I know I’m being silly but still. I agree with a PP, at LEAST until you are 12 (or maybe 25!) just stay in sight!!
