  1. I've booked Sunset Beach Resort, day pass, twice. This is an all inclusive resort, gated resort. It was not crowded, drinks were fine, food was so-so, it is a very pretty place, it is not over the top outstandingly beautiful with huge ceilings or well you get the picture. There is a pool, a play area in the water for kids or adults, beach, palapas, and best of all it was very relaxing and peaceful. I booked on line myself and no issues whatsoever. Last time was 2010 and it was approx 60.00 pp

  2. There is plenty good food and drink without pay extra. Now, I have read that the food that is extra is very good, and averages 25-30.00 pp. Specialty ice creams and specialty desserts are extra. They have free good deserts and ice cream. The pizza is free. Specialty coffees are extra. Some cruise lines now charge approx 4.00 for room service in the very wee hours of the morning, say 12-5:00 a.m. The arcade is extra and we all know the casino is a very big extra lol. Tip the porters coming and going at the pier, typically 1-2.00 per bag or more if you choose. You can bring a 12 pack each of water and/or pop onboard without any snarles. There are several shops for perfume, jewelry, clothing, souveniers all onboard which of course are extra. Taxi to where you are going in port, extra, likewise on the way from port.

  3. Jason - Good idea

OP - I can definitely understand your concerns. Completely cover the locks and handle with lots of duct tape. I think I would hear my child if they were trying to get it off, and also put your suitcase, or 2 or 3 in front of it at night. I'm sure if there were an emergency an adult could get it off very quickly?

  4. Ease into your cruise adventure by letting Royal Caribbean safely get you to and from the ship with one of our easy-to-purchase ground transfers.

    Transfer Program

If you choose to make your own air arrangements or book air through our online ChoiceAir Travel Program you may wish to purchase ground transportation to the ship. Transfers are available for pre-purchase from the arrival airport to the pier on day of sailing and from the pier to the departure airport on debarkation day only.

It is recommended that transfers are purchased two weeks prior to sailing. Please remember we require your flight information in order to promptly meet all guests.

To purchase your Royal Caribbean Guest Transfer or for additional information consult your travel agent or our Reservations Department at 1-800-327-6700.

    Cruisetour - only Guests

  5. Yesterday I put a hold on the Navigator of the Seas, May 25, 2014 sailing. This morning I called my TA and we booked the cruise. I have my total price and the room I picked in confirmation. The TA website and the RCCL website, both have my booking. Here is the ?

When I put my cruise on hold, it also gave me 150.00 OBC. My TA and RCCL do NOT have that listed on the website or anywhere I can find, nor is that in any of my paperwork.

Also, there is a certificate for it, of 125.00 for my sailing which I informed them of also. TA says that RCCL said you cannot use the certificate in addition to the WOW sale. It does not say that on the website and when I put my hold on it stated I qualified for 150.00 OBC.

    What do I do?

    Thanks so much!
