  4. It had been a difficult year trying to book in Italy. Italy tours said they are suspended any reservations at this time. Rome cabs which used to serve every where only working Rome. I refuse to work through overpriced viator
  5. I have used the search feature with no luck. Can anyone recommend a beach day for our port stop in PV? I don’t mind if it is connected through a hotel etc. I can’t seem to get information. thank you
  6. Our plan has changed and we will now be in Rome a few days. I know I have seen this before but can’t seem to find my answers now. we already have Scavi tickets to see the underground of the Vatican. I want a different tour early morning of a small group tour. is it possible to do this directly through the Vatican or do I need to use one of the many online guides Carter 14 days of cruise tours we want things a little more relaxed and cheaper. if anyone has found a way to do this I would appreciate the guidance.

  8. We are cruising this June. A ten day cruise with no sea days. we are using Spain Day Tours in most ports. They do not offer tours in Ibiza. I am wondering if this would be a good day to take a break and wander on our own. I don’t see much information about this port. I hope someone can give me some guidance. thanks
  9. We are on March sailing with the same changes. While I agree it is not a big loss…. Why is it always announced after final payment? We have also lost SIX which was a big reason that we booked this ship. It is disappointing to have things taken away with no real explanation or apology.

    Now I am back to having a dilemma!! Today I received an email stating they are pleased to confirm three tickets for my date. I had requested and paid for six. therefore, I will attempt to reply and let them know I already have the reservation. I am hoping nothing gets canceled etc. perhaps they just now are going through old emails ? Best of luck to everyone.

    Can anyone assist me. We will be in Rome next June. I want to do the Scavi underground tour. I do not want book through Viator and pay inflated prices I have emailed (many ) as the website says. I have included all requested information. I have not had any response. A relative lives in Europe and phones me. They just said email and hung up. has anyone had success making contact?
  20. We were on the Jewel last spring and the haven courtyard butler Fidel was so attentive to my mom that we are still talking about the experience. I am trying to convince her to take another cruise. I am aware that contracts change and staff is moved around. However, if anyone has encountered Fidel lately please share. This would really help her to get on a ship again. Thank you.
  21. My family still talks about Mr. Happy and we have a key chain that hangs ceremoniously on our rack. He made us smile for sure.
  22. I am sorry this topic has turned so heated. I agree with your post and sorry this happened to you. This is definitely the new trend and disappointing. I have noticed it on our last couple cruises. Yes, it is unfair on the staff and the guests. I am not a big complainer and figure out how to work around things, but it is a bummer. I am shocked at the debate on this thread.
