I believe that the spa rooms were added to increase in height. From what I understand they are brand new rooms.

That's what I was hoping. We are staying in a spa cabin in February. I didn't think that Destiny was that tall.

I believe the Sunshine has the Alchemy Bar and the Breeze does not.

Our last two cruises were on Breeze and we are sailing on Sunshine 2/16/14. Can't wait!!

They stretched it. They took 12 humungous tug boats, put six on each end and ........ well you know what happened. At first they broke several chains and straps but in the end, they accomplished it.:D

 

FYI, when Royal Caribbean refurbished Enchantment of the Seas they cut the ship in half and added a "piece" in the center, therefore they "stretched it".

What are the cabins that were added to Sunshine? Was the ship stretched lengthwise or were the new cabins in the new heighth?

My last two cruises have been on Breeze, we just returned last Sunday. I love the Breeze!!! Can't wait for sunshine!!

I usually do that, but I am going to try and go back to eating in the MDR on anytime dining.

I have been on Allure and Oasis several times and sailed on Breeze in October this year. We are sailing on Breeze again in two days.

I love both the Oasis class ships and Breeze. The entertainment on Allure and Oasis is phenomenal! They also have "to die for" roast beef sandwiches in the Park Cafe.

Breeze doesn't seem as crowded to me. That's just my opinion and I LOVE the water slides.

For me, it is all about the cost.

We sailed on Dream and Breeze last year. Going again on Breeze in four days!! Love the Breeze!!

A rental car is not a bad option. Some of the car rental companies offer free shuttles to their MIA airport locations - National, Alamo and Thrifty. Or there are car rental offices in downtown Miami close to POM that should only be a $12-13+tip cab ride from POM (Avis, Dollar).

 

Other shuttle providers may take you from POM to your hotel - check with QLS, Go Airport, MJS and others often mentioned on these boards.

I'm counting on it! As a rule, the ships with the big screens DO show playoff games. I watched them last year on the Conquest and plan on watching a few on our upcoming B2B on the Legend.

We are sailing on Breeze this coming Saturday for an 8 day cruise. My husband is a big football fan. Can anyone tell me if you think they will show the wild card games on the big screen this coming weekend and the following Saturday?

Ocean Sky is in a different neighborhood than most of the Fort Lauderdale beach hotels, as it is on the northern border of Fort Lauderdale beach. Expect to pay about $30-$40 per taxi ride (from port and to airport).

We are arriving in Port of Miami and need transportation to a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We normally use SAS but they only go to the airport.

I am considering taking a taxi to the MIA airport and renting a car, and returning it to FLL airport the next day.

Any suggestions?
