  1. This schedule is completely fine! πŸ›³EnJOY!
  2. My recommendation is for the verandah. If it is cold, bundle up! It's an amazing place to relax while cruising through Alaska. Bring a travel coffee cup and fill it with hot cocoa from the buffet. Great memories. Often, just a warm hat and a sweatshirt will suffice. Always, layers. EnJOY!
  3. You should be just fine with an 1145am flight. When they assign you to a departure group (via the color coded luggage tags), make sure you are in one of the first groups to disembark the ship. If not, go to the front desk when you get the luggage tags and ask for an earlier departure group. I travel by air all the time. Sometimes I don't check in until I get to the airport. So, don't sweat the check-in issue. And, as another poster stated - you will have internet access on your phone early in the morning on the day you arrive back in port. Delta will have emailed you a link to check in for your flight. Click on the link in your email and check in. Then, get your boarding passes at the airport. No worries. No worries. Enjoy your cruise! βœ…
  4. There is an upgrade option. You check a box to let them know if you are interested in paying a little more for an upgrade. I assume that when they come back around to offer you a cabin on your 1st or 2nd itinerary choice, they will offer the upgrade specifics at that time.
  5. I don't believe it is a scam. I received an offer as well. - and I am not a gambler. It's sink or sail for the cruise industry. I think they are trying to sail! πŸ˜‰
  6. I have sailed a lot on both Celebrity and RCI. Only a few time on Princess and Carnival. Celebrity and RCI are similar products, although I feel that Celebrity is a little more refined. RCI has more ships and therefore more itinerary options. Itineraries are typically what direct me these days. On either cruise line, if you want the excellent dining experience of 15 - 20 years ago, you have to go into the specialty dining venues. Just my opinion/experience though. Regarding these two cruise lines: my preference is certainly Celebrity. βœ… Good luck!
  7. I have to believe that Celebrity (and all cruise lines) are suffering tremendously ....still. They have to get people back into cruising mode. The Blue Chip Club is a tool in their toolbox. They clearly have been offering a free cruise to BCC members who are not big gamblers. I would offer an educated guess that they are reaching out (through BCC) to regular Celebrity cruisers who have not sailed during Covid and/or who are not currently booked. Hypothetically speaking, these ships are going to sink unless they can get the passengers back onboard. πŸ›³
  8. I received the offer. I am looking at one of the sailings they offer and it is an 8 night departing Ft Lauderdale on Dec 18.
