  1. I was wondering how Reflection would do going before Odyssey.
  2. I don't blame you about the phone, especially your new iPhone 15 Pro. They make "waterproof" cases, but I probably wouldn't trust them. I remember the old disposable waterproof film cameras. I don't know if there's such a thing for digital photos.
  3. Great photos, as usual. Many years ago I cruised from Auckland, NZ to Sydney. The NZ landscape is just gorgeous. You'll enjoy it.
  4. Wow, it's really storming here. Lightning, thunder and pouring rain. The NFL game is in its second weather delay; players off the field and stadium emptied. I'm happily cozy inside my house.
  5. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @richwmn. We should certainly be mindful of people with disabilities and their needs (I temporarily feel in that category). Some green bean casseroles are good, others not. Dailyite group hug!! Cute quote. The meal sounds good (I like cream of mushroom soup). Pass on the drink and wine. I have not been to Puerto Limon; we were supposed to stop in Costa Rico on my PC cruise, but we didn't (BFF says due to port damage from a storm). An important day in medical history. It's rainy and cloudy here today, but mild, in the 50's. Not much new with me. I did manage to get the wreath on the door and 2 little trees outside yesterday. I got about 4 hours of sleep last night. Pain is the same. I might try to do some baking today, if I can do it with mainly sitting on a high stool in the kitchen. I'm hoping to get the last of the fans out of the house tomorrow, then have the insurance field rep come out. @RedneckBob Bon Voyage to you and Mrs. RNB! @Norseh2o @Himself @Niagarawine Welcome Home! @grapau27 I read that there's lots of snow in Europe; I saw Munich had to close the airport yesterday. @StLouisCruisers I hope to know more about both my house and health this week, although the Neurosurgery office may not call since I have an upcoming appointment in a couple of weeks (I should be able to see the MRI report in my online chart though). @Seasick Sailor I'm sure it's much more fun to be staying onboard. Enjoy! @aliaschief That's a lot of rain! Hopefully no flooding there. @rafinmd I'm glad you got home safely, Roy. Take it easy and get some rest. @Denise T Good to hear that Chase is being treated and seems a bit better. @ger_77 Continued good thoughts for your friend Wayne. @Quartzsite Cruiser Safe travels today. @dfish I like the first recipe, but it says I need access to google docs. @cruising sister I'm glad both DB and you are recovering well. @smitty34877 Similar to you there wasn't hugging when I was growing up. A family here sort of "adopted" me when I first moved here, and they were big huggers, so I joined in hesitantly at first and now like hugs. Oh my on that unsolicited advice! You do what's best for you. @ottahand7 Thanks for the photos. @marshhawk Enjoy your dinner with your friends. I hope Furnando's eye improves with seeing the vet. @kochleffel I had to laugh at the "I Love You A Latke" shirts. @RMLincoln Take it easy until you are feeling 100%. Prayers for the Care List and a Toast to those Celebrating.

  7. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. 3 good days. I'll salute spirit of the game and bartenders. We should be doing more to prevent pollution. Interesting quote. I like the meal, although I don't cook a whole chicken often (if I want one I buy a rotisserie chicken at Sam's Club). Pass on the drink and the wine. I haven't been to Mindelo. 2 interesting days in history. It's cloudy here, but warm in the 50's. After yesterday's trauma, I managed to get an hour nap in the afternoon. The mitigation guy called and said he'd come today, as he was tied up yesterday. I managed about 3.5 hours of sleep last night. The guy came this morning already - the equipment was removed from the basement, but there's still one wet area in the LR. But he did remove one fan from the LR, so it's not sounding like a jet engine today. He won't be back until Monday, then I have to call the insurance field rep to come by. Since it's nice out I may try to at least get the wreath on the door, and the 2 small trees out that go beside the door. @grapau27 Thanks for the explanation. I hope the cleanup team has been working on your place today. @StLouisCruisers Thanks for the Mindelo photos. @kazu Enjoy the get together today, and I hope the rain stops. @Lady Hudson I hope your bits of headache and nausea are soon gone. @Denise T I hope Chase is ok and gets any meds if he needs them. @Heartgrove I hope you and Sue are feeling better today. @dfish Good news that Sue is improving. @smitty34877 Thanks for your commiseration on the MRI; that was the worst pain ever. It's good the teenager will be cooking. Maybe he can read some information about getting complete protein, like combining beans and rice, plus your input. Continued prayers for the whole family. @marshhawk I hope the oxygen helps you to feel better. @mamaofami Good news that Sam is improving. I'm sorry to hear of your need for extensive dental work. Prayers that it all goes well. @rafinmd I hope you got a good rest last night. Safe travels on the last leg of your trip home. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.
  8. 9. Congrats to REN and the whole family and support system. A great school for education and athletics.
  10. Try making the photo smaller. That worked for some others who were getting the black box.
  11. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit. Appropriate that it's National Christmas Lights Day. Much progress has been made in AIDS treatment, but more is needed. A salute to Romanian independence. Interesting quote. Pass on the meal (fish) and drink, but I'll take the wine. I have not been to Fortaleza. 3 Important days. It's cloudy and rainy here today. I must say this may have been the worst day. I slept about 3 hours. BFF came and took me for my MRI. I told the guy I get extreme leg/back pain when laying on my back. He said I couldn't move, moan or breathe too deeply as it interferes with the study. I was in agony the whole time. I'm not one that does self affirmations, but I tried to breathe evenly and tell myself "you can do it, you are strong, hang in there" the whole time. Thank goodness that's over! Back here, BFF went downstairs and brought up a few outdoor decorations that I will put on the porch. My tree has been up in the foyer since last year; I'll just turn on the lights for it, no decorating. Now I'm waiting for the mitigation company guy to come by, and finally having my coffee. @arzz @Cruzin Terri and Jim - Welcome home! @grapau27 Graham, so sorry to hear of the water main leak and its effects on your property. Wow, a water board cleaning team sounds great. We don't get that kind of service here. @smitty34877 Thanks. I'm waiting to see the outcome of the mitigation with bated breath. I'm hoping just cleanup will be required. My enthusiasm for the holiday is also lacking; I can certainly understand your feeling that way too, after your loss. @rafinmd I hope all goes smoothly today on your journey towards home. @ger_77 Prayers for your friend Wayne that his heart issues can be taken care of straight away. And great of you and DH to jump right in to help him. @Heartgrove I'm sorry to hear that you and Sue are still feeling unwell. I guess continuing to rest is all you can do. @superoma Good news about Dena; I hope her recovery continues. @dfish I'm glad Sue is feeling better, but sorry to hear that DB and DSIL are under the weather. @cruising sister It was wonderful to see pictures of Murphy. She's a fighter! Continued prayers for her. Good luck with the new medication. My doctor wanted me to try Metformin as part of weight management, but I know many don't tolerate it, so I said not now. Enjoy the Christmas program! @arzz Good luck with the insurance battle over the damage to your home. @marshhawk Good to hear that you're getting the oxygen today. What a sweet story about what you did for your neighbor; great Christmas spirit. @57redbird I'm glad you got a date. I'm hoping my imaging today helps, but I don't see Neurosurgery until Dec 19. @kochleffel Congrats on the great feedback for your presentation! @RMLincoln I hope you both feel better soon. Get some rest! @Nickelpenny Great photos. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.

  13. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @richwmn. Computer security is vital, especially with reports of hostile takeovers lately. I like a good chocolate mousse. A salute to Barbados independence. Interesting quote. The meal sounds good. Pass on the drink and yes to the wine. I have not been to Seydisfjordur, Iceland; I want to go to Iceland. Beer purity is very important in Germany. It's warmer today (43F) and sunny. Well, quite the day yesterday. The mitigation team came all the way from WV last evening. They measured moisture in the floor, and put fans and a giant dehumidifier both in the living room and in the basement under (to dry the subfloor). It sounds like a jet engine in here. I was concerned about sleeping, but was so exhausted I went to bed at 9:30 and was asleep by 10. I got about 5 hours, which is a near record the last few months. The insurance claims person called this AM to get details, then the mitigation company manager was just here. These fans have to stay about 3 days! I will still need to get an HVAC company to put in a new radiator. I have PT this afternoon, and that's about all on the agenda today. MRI tomorrow, finally. @Sharon in AZ Prayers all goes well with your cataract surgery today. @rafinmd Roy, take your time driving today. @StLouisCruisers You're teasing us about your big news! Thanks for your photos from Seydisfjordur. @kazu I hope you get your flight worked out for the best. @Heartgrove Nice photos. I never have heard of "Trapped". @Seasick Sailor I hope you get your balcony door fixed. @grapau27 I had to LOL about your original moose post 😉. @dfish I'm glad Sue is feeling better. Thanks for the recipes. Yes, just copy and paste. Good for you for being the squeaky wheel! @ger_77 Good news on the mammogram. @superoma Prayers for your friend. Sadly black toes usually is dead tissue. @marshhawk I hope the oxygen comes soon! @cruising sister How is your hand coming along? @kochleffel Good luck with your class presentation today. @Quartzsite Cruiser You've got a lot on your to-do list! Prayers for the Care List and a Toast to those Celebrating.
