Maybe this has been mentioned but I haven't seen it before but there is now a live camera from Mozart which is great. Something positive for new website. I wish the views would show location as some of the cruise ones do - would be great to see where we are seeing the views.

I would think rebuilding etc of ships would be a huge cost for Crystal. I'm not a ship builder nor do I know what stage things are in but ordering steel, etc. has a lead time - you just don't go to Home Depot and get some lumber cut different size.

I assume the fear people have about France, etc. was leading to very few bookings which led to this. For us we looked at a couple of Paris ones and it seemed to us that you spent a lot more time in Paris than actually river cruising and thus didn't look that good to us.

I wonder when the Danube, etc. will get too full to handle the traffic with more and more ships there. There is a physical limit to what rivers and locks can take.

Time will tell.

When you say you've traveled on all the luxury lines - have you done Crystal or Seabourn or Silversea and if so how would you compare to those lines?

Did Icelandic air a couple of years ago and it was great. Crew a little more formal (throw back to travel 20 years ago) than most but comfortable and very nice flight.

Make sure you do blue lagoon in Iceland.

On line and by booklet it is very confusing- it talks about open dining but then in the room descriptions it gives how many days before the trip you can reserve in the main dining room. So is it open or reserve in the main dining room.

Also some of the specialty restaurants list reservations needed and another couple say no reservation.

Is this just all evolving and documentation hasn't caught up or ???

The lobster dock in boothbay harbor is superb and the view is even better
