  1. It is permitted. There are those on this site that have live posted from a Single Crown Loft Suite. The total cost is the same as a double. I think it's going to be a long time before we see life boat capacity being an issue. The cruise I am looking at, every cabin but one in this category is available.
  2. My family of 3 is looking at booking a suite on an Oasis Class ship for next summer. I realize the only option is a nonrefundable deposit for a suite. With all of the uncertainty, I am considering booking it as a single and paying one deposit instead of three. When things become a little more clear and it looks like we can all cruise again, I will add my wife and child. If we can't go, then I only lose one deposit. Has anyone else done this?
  3. Simeon Kirkiles Really talented comedian and piano player.
  4. So you didn't really come here to get some preaching about agreeing to a price, yada yada yada. You want a strategy. First go to Royal's site and check the price of your specific cruise using all available crown and anchor, residency and age discounts. Check to see how many cabins are available in your category. If there are quite a few available, then your plan is probably sound. Create a bookmark to your specific cruise and check it every day. It's really easy. When you see that your cabin type may be getting sparse, you can jump in again. Prices can move either way pretty frequently. You do have $400 cushion right now. You would think in this environment prices would probably be falling but that will depend on where you are sailing and how full your ship is now. I check the price of my cruise a couple of times a day by clicking my bookmark....very easy. You can always rebook. Good luck.
  5. This is not true with Google Voice. You are assigned a specific telephone number that the other party can call and they do not need the App to do it. It is just a separate telephone line.
  6. Savor the savings with the Unlimited Dining Package! For one low price, you can enjoy multiple entrees and visit multiple specialty restaurants every night of your sailing. And as an added perk, this unlimited package also applies to lunch at specialty restaurants on sea days. Plus, enjoy a discount of 40% off bottles of wine under $100 and 20% off bottles above $100 while dining in specialty restaurants. A courtesy reservation will be made for the first night of your cruise based on your preferred dining time. You will receive your courtesy reservation confirmation in your stateroom on the first day of your cruise. All additional reservations or changes to your courtesy reservation must be made once onboard at any specialty restaurant. For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $35 food credit, with the exception of Port Side BBQ and Playmakers which will be $20.* For ships with these venues, Teppanyaki/Izumi Hibachi is included, with a $10 surcharge, which will be charged onboard.*
  7. If your cell provider doesn't allow wifi calling, there are a few apps that you can use for wifi calling. Both of these work on Android and Iphones. Google Voice (you will need to get a second google voice number) Viber I would get both just in case. Worst case, you can call from your cabin at $7.95 a minute.
  8. We are booked on the Allure in May from Barcelona and have 3 days in Italy. We have already made our Final Payment. Has anyone had experience switching to another RCCL ship? Is this possible? We are looking at Harmony or Symphony around the same date.
  9. Don't know if it helps, but for the May 17th one the Unlimited Dining is $215.86 and the Deluxe Beverage is $60.
  10. Is the food in the Vitality Spa included in the UDP?
  11. I do have to respectfully disagree. Blanton's is one of the top affordable Bourbons today. I bought 3 bottles on the Allure and wish I had bought more. It is nearly impossible to find these days and there's a reason for that. Your husband would love a bottle.
  12. I just had this happen to me on Thursday. Price of our cruise went down $800. We had a nonrefundable deposit but it was before final payment. TA called and the price was lowered but for some reason the taxes and fees went up $80 (for 3 of us.) TA called back and they lowered them back to what they were supposed to be.
  13. It's Suite 1742 on Allure Here''s the elevator on Harmony:
  14. Royal Caribbean App for my May 17 Allure cruise shows Day 3 for the Filet.
