  1. We try to avoid stops in Jamaica. It's been years ago, but the last time we were there we wandered around outside the gates and had people follow us everywhere. And then there was the man that tried to sell us ganja. It was just uncomfortable.
  2. A clear, over-the-door shoe hanger is my go-to, must-have cruise item. You can use strong magnets to hang it on the outside of the bathroom door. I hate having "stuff" all over the bathroom counter, and I can keep everything needed in the pockets. I keep toothpaste, lotion, sunscreen, over the counter medications, hair brushes, band aids, safety pins - just about everything fits in it.

  4. I apologize. I have searched, but I can’t make the search pull up what I need. I imagine this topic has been addressed, and since it didn’t apply to me, I skipped on by. With two bookings, how do I see the second in the Medallion app? I am only able to see the first. Or must I wait until the first cruise is completed to see the second?
  5. Have you gone to the Delta website? I was able to book seats through Delta, under My Trips, even though EZ Air still gives me the (unclickable) option.
  6. I second Tracy’s Crab Shack in Juneau. Huge king crab legs - oh, wow, I want to go back!
  7. Can I ask what the promotion was, or did he ever get around to it?
  8. We don’t plan to ever be without it, as it makes traveling much less painful. Great investment.
  9. Was in L107 on Sky Princess. I absolutely love these forward facing cabins. The balcony is unreal, and ours was smaller than what yours will be. Our experience has been in the Caribbean, and I simply cannot imagine how spectacular viewing the glaciers will be. They did not tie up the chairs at night. Enjoy, and please come back with your review!
  10. Keep checking the app. About a months after I made reservations (and was charged), I noticed that the two specialty dining credits showed up. I cancelled the first reservations and made new ones, using the credit. My balance showed zero, and my credit card was refunded almost immediately.
  11. I was unable to use my desktop - kept getting the error message to call customer service. I noticed that AARP had used my two first initials as my name, and changed it, but still received the error message. Used my phone today (with DuckDuckGo as my browser) and order went right through - using the same credit card I had previously tried on the desktop.
  12. Ours opened about 350 days prior to our February 2024 cruise. I checked way too often… 😂
  13. Thank you for your review. Crown Grill quality complaints seem to be more common these days.
  14. I do believe they have Woodford on the bar menus. Woodford is my DH's favorite bourbon, so he's pretty happy to see that he can get it.

  17. The 24K Margarita on the rocks is so good!! I have a hard time switching to anything else.
  18. I agree, 100%. We loved the food, the drinks, the hospitality - I couldn't find much not to like.
  19. We have 1 cruise scheduled for February 2024. Since I had started to receive tax information, I had the stock information handy and thought I'd just try to apply for the credit. Emailed on Friday, was in our account yesterday afternoon when I checked. Very fast.
