  1. I'm pretty sure they just looked at a different ship instead of the Sun Princess. The Sun Princess is going to be the first one without deck names.
  2. I use it during the day. I have it all to myself ☺️
  3. It seems a bit too early to be receiving medallions for a cruise on March 4th. They usually are shipped out two weeks prior to sailing
  4. Never mind I finally got it to open. This excites me. ☺️
  5. Struggling to get the file the open up.
  6. They're actually a lot more comfortable than the tall chairs which I call the Beetlejuice chair on the Regal and Royal Princess right outside of Princess live
  7. I vaguely remember that as well
  8. I'm hoping everything works out for you and it's not terribly loud. I mean I'm not one of these type of people that complained ever but I wonder if it actually becomes an issue that you can just go down a guest services and ask for a room change within the same category of course if available
  9. Yes the new bidding kind of has me smidgely worried. Giving me a smaller chance of being properly upgraded. Fingers and toes crossed I get a good outcome.
  10. But what's funny is is the white and gold party is not like the 24k gold deck party they used to have a few years ago just prior to the pandemic shutdown. Now that was fun because they did promote all those 24 karat gold margaritas. Now that was a money maker. Great deck party too!!!!
  11. So I haven't booked a guaranteed cabin since probably my first cruise way back when 15 plus years ago. Just curious if you have many sailings under your belts with princess does that at all give you a better chance of a upgrade of a guaranteed inside cabin to a balcony per stay? Still waiting to be assigned as is totally goes again my normal way of always booking my midship balcony. However for this random four-day cruise booking I was trying to go as inexpensive as possible considering I also have to fly out to California.
  12. Exactly. Well it was the same thing on the Christmas cruise you had separate formal nights but white and gold night was on a dress to impress night different from a formal
  13. Grant you the one thing I do miss on the sky that's missing is crooners because I absolutely love it being back on the Enchanted, with those cozy big red chairs.
  14. 60 days prior to your cruise You can book your arrival time. At least that's what it has been for me.
  15. I absolutely hate it the connecting cabins. I accidentally had booked one without not realizing it years ago when the Regal had just added those connecting doors in certain cabins. The rooms are not as soundproof and I have some rowdy young teenagers who were banging on it trying hard to pretend that they were trying to break in through it knowing that it was dead bolted. But never ever again will I. On the other hand if you are traveling with a big group then yes it will be helpful if you have two cabins booked.
  16. So it's been puzzling me since last night when I read about them possibly changing venues around on both the Sky and Enchanted during the dry docks in April. Besides hearsay from officers on board mentioning it which I might question when I'm back on board in 2 weeks time. Has this information been posted anywhere online directly from Princess? Why are they all of a sudden deciding to change the venues around which I find interesting considering when the majestic is been here stateside since the pandemic reopening. If any ship were to get venue changes, I always kind of thought it would have been the majestic to help Americanize it, as we know the venues and certain areas were created for the Asian market.
  17. On my handful of cruises that I've had that have included the white and gold party I would say a very small percentage tends to dress up within the theme. That's simply because it's on a dress to impress night and I feel like that it isn't promoted as much as it could be explaining the small participation
  18. No name just the phone number showed up along with stating its a call from Arizona. Normally T-Mobile's fantastic about announcing it's a scam likely call.
  19. Oh wow! I guess I'm in the minority then. I absolutely love Bistro Sur La Mer! Personally for me it's probably my favorite out of all of the specialty dining restaurants that Princess has. To each and their own. I actually just went to check the deck plans on both the Enchanted and sky which they do have the option to view the map If you're sailing after the dry dock in April. The venues mentioned about being replaced all remain the same as they currently are.
  20. Agreed! So funny that you said that because I was thinking the same thing and like ooh and they said they were supposedly from Princess Is this my 360 dinner invite. Hehehe. ☺️
  21. I'm on this cruise as well My theory is dress how you would like as it is a theme cruise and people are there to enjoy themselves as well as the theming. I'm personally not into theme dressing but I'm jokingly considered my hot pink Barbie workout outfit with the leg warmers. 🤣😂🤣😂
  22. I'm on the '80s cruise on the Discovery in April and the lineup includes trippy bands for Pat Benatar as well Bon Jovi as well as Journey. I'm also excited to know that Carlos Oscar is on her as well as he's one of my favorite comedians that I've seen multiple times on Princess.
  23. So I did an experiment, not sure if it was coincidental or not, but I had my phone powered off for a while, knowing what time this guy was calling back. I'm talking about an hour Prior and after to the time he said he would call back. As soon aa I powered my phone back on, I kidd you not, he called the moment my phone powered on. I ignored it and he called back 3 times in a row 🤔 Whats the odds of that happening like that.
