  1. I got off Adventure last week. They were still optional. Keep checking the Royal site for changes/updates. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center?icid=hlthys_wrnssn_hlt_nbrdxp_pghdr_3467
  2. We dropped off our baggage with the porters first, then we parked. Have fun on Oasis 🙂
  3. I didn’t think I’d have a problem with parking at all… just preferred to be in the garage, rather than an overflow lot. Anyways, this is what happened last Thursday… We got to Cape Liberty very early. Was told to come back because the garage opened at 9:30am. When we came back at that time, was told right off the bat that the garage was for handicapped only… and they directed us to an overflow lot. I tried to park in the lot across from the garage, but was denied since that lot is for “The Sunday ship” (Oasis). So we went to the overflow lot and was told to pay $125 up front. Adventure sailing was a 5-night. I told them we were doing a B2B so it should be more - yes, we’re honest. They told us we should be parking in the garage then. Told the woman we just came from there. She made a call and told us to go back to the garage. So we did… and they let us park there. Now at Cape Liberty since it’s Day 1 of our 2nd sailing. Read that they are automatically directing people to the overflow lot.
  4. This is our first B2B as well… in the same cabin for both. I *think* (?) I read somewhere they will move your luggage, as well as the clothes on hangers - if you are in a diff cabin. Hopefully someone can jump in with better info. Since it seems The Key lunch is the same place as the B2B lunch, not sure if there is a difference in menu. Probably not?
  5. To follow up, since I already responded to this previously - the B2B letter was outside our door this morning. It even had our names on it 🙂 Thanks again.
  6. My wife and I have primarily masked indoors during this sailing. This morning, we jump on an elevator with a family of three. Goes down one deck… then EIGHT more people get on. Even though we were masked, we got off and took the stairs. It is what it is. I’m not disappointed in the cruise… just “first world problem” shocked; meaning that the last 6 cruises we’ve been on were either Oasis or Quantum class, with more options? Not sure if that’s the word for it. And oh yeah…. Capacity… about 80%. We asked earlier in the sailing. Assumed more because it’s a holiday sailing.
  7. Thanks, we got the letter from guest services yesterday (Day 3) and he did confirm we were B2B. It was odd though because even he wasn’t certain about B2B’s either… even some follow up questions, he was all “look at the letter, it’s all in the letter, etc” (psst… he had no idea what was in the letter!) Also had no idea that ships had to anchor behind Bar Island. I was wondering, because on Anthem in 2016, the ship was visible.
  8. Hi Roy, Thanks for your updates, I’ve been following along. On Adventure now, on the first half of a B2B. How did you receive the “consecutive cruiser” letter? We asked Guest Services on Day 1, they said we should receive it in our stateroom on Day 3 (today). We didn’t receive it and our stateroom attendant seems to have no clue what a B2B (or a consecutive cruise) is! Just an aloof confused look. So we got the form from guest services. Thank you!
  9. Leaving Thursday on Adventure. Last year (Oasis in Oct, Anthem in Nov) was the first time we ever drove to the port, so getting in the garage was really easy both times. Now I realize we were spoiled... lol. Since Oasis left Sunday, and Celebrity Summit (?) left on Monday, thinking that no matter how early we get there on Thursday, we won't be able to park in the garage. Was hoping to. Ah well... outdoor lot it is.
  10. Do a mock booking without inputting your C&A #... that's how I was able to see the OBC.
