OBC for next cruise bookings up to 4 months after returning from your cruise used to be available sometimes. The policy might have changed but it's worth a call. POST THANK U was one of the promo codes agents could enter for this.

Yours should be fine because I was told by X to use the date of your 2nd shot, and when you upload your vaccination card, it will show the booster. They haven’t said they are requiring a booster so that may be why they only ask for the dates of the 1st and 2nd shot. No worries….
The app says DATE OF FINAL DOSE. So I put in the booster date. It has been accepted/verified. I suppose if your booster is within 14 days of the cruise it would be better to use the last date of your initial vaccines.

Yes, you should be able to get the 2A for the 2B price. There has to be at least one room in each category in "available" status.
I think the agent you spoke to couldn't figure out how to do it, so she made up a reason. They've been doing that lately.
On the other hand, Captains Club upgrades are made "at time of booking", so Celebrity could possibly use that condition to deny upgrades that are requested well after the time of booking.
This is quoted from CAPTAIN'S CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
"One-Category Upgrade
One-category upgrade requests must be made at the time of booking and apply only for upgrades within the supercategory, depending on availability. Example of a super category upgrade in AquaClass: A2 to A1. Upgrades available from categories 11- A1 on all Celebrity ships except Galapagos voyages.
For sailings departing prior to April 12, 2023: Captain's Club one-category upgrade excludes categories: 12, FV, SV, C1 and Z, Y, X, XC, XA, W. On Celebrity Edge categories 12, 9, 7, 6, IO, 1B, 1A, SV, ES, E1, C2, C1, A1 are also excluded.
For sailings departing on or after April 12, 2023: Captain's Club one-category upgrade excludes categories: IS, ES, SV, SC, PO, DO, DI, DV and Z, Y, X, XC, XA, W.
This offer cannot be used with certain restricted fares including but not limited to Simply Sail, Exciting Deals, Interline, travel agent or employee rates. Upgrades apply for one stateroom per cruise. Stateroom assignments only. Not valid on holiday sailings.
The Captain's Club program terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Offers vary by tier, see benefit grid for full details. Captain Club benefits may not be available with other sales and promotions."

There don't seem to be any lower tier cabins on the Edge that I can find. If we need an accessible cabin and want a balcony we have to pay for E1 category which will cost us $2,000 more because we need the space for my mobility scooter etc.
You're right. The only categories lower than E1 with HANDICAP Accesibility are category 6 and 9, and neither have balconies.

It depends...Most 2D rooms have obstructions up to the railing. Most 2C rooms have obstructions up to the floor.

I received this in an email today:
"For guests sailing back-to-back on any Celebrity Cruises ship, complimentary testing will be provided onboard. Effective November 16, 2021, if sailing on another cruise brand, guests will be responsible for making their own arrangements with an accredited testing provider as well as covering all associated costs."

The bar/restaurant S3 in the first floor is very nice for drinks and small plates. My favorite happy hour is 2 blocks away at the Wine Garden, 7 nights a week from 4 to 7.

I live in Ft Lauderdale. The new Hyatt Centric looks gorgeous! It's close to the port and airport and you can walk to dozens of restaurants. It's a great choice!

I'm in Ft Lauderdale. When I go on the Walgreens website to schedule a rapid test the nearest locations are in Miami.

Zacapa 23 rum.
Wines by Kim Crawford, Cherry Tart, and Conundrum.
La Fin du Monde beer.
There's a cucumber martini (Eurekatini?) available at the martini bar... it's made with gin but I ask for it with Absolut vodka instead.
Whoever wrote the recipe for the lycheetini got the balance way off so it tastes like a pina colada...I ask for it without the coconut creme and with extra lychee juice.

I'm a huge Princess fan. I'm low budget, and book insides mainly. I'm not a huge foodie, and find their menu offerings to my liking. I also have found that they have the best evening entertainment( quantity, not quality) as far as sheer variety. The demographic is mostly my age, and not too many children.
I also get a lot of value out of the Princess Plus promo.
I enjoy the more relaxed feel as well.
Slightly dressy works just fine for formal night.
I've cruised HAL, Celebrity, NCL and MSC, and hands down Princess is my go to.
We LOVE the Royal and Regal Princess ships! We only wish that they had a solarium and more shaded loungechairs by the pools.

Celebrity is our #1, then Princess or RC and maybe NCL.
We went on MSC (not Yacht Club, but on brand new Meraviglia in 2019).... the ship was gorgeous but the music (latin and club music) was always way too loud along the Promenade, which is where the specialty restaurants are, and food and service was awful in all of the restaurants, and it seemed there were always 2 dozen people in line at guest relations.
Also tried HAL and Carnival but they are just not our vibe. The more upscale lines look nice but we prefer larger ships.

I took a friend on Infinity and we shared a stateroom. It was her first cruise ever, and I wanted to show her why I love Celebrity, so I brought her to the CC breakfast in Tuscan. We were sailing with a couple of first timers in another stateroom, so we only broke away to do CC breakfast once, but it was memorable and the finest service I've ever had, and Celebrity got a new fan.
Royal Caribbean doesn't allow this, so I had to choose between being with my roommate or abandoning her to go to the Diamond lounge, my favorite space on RC ships. So I'm so happy that Celebrity allows it!!!

Both are fabulous but I would choose Silhouette. It's newer and bigger and offers more specialty dining, Lawn Club, Ensemble Lounge, bigger beer or wine bar.

Don't forget about Le Petit Cef and Sushi on Millenium!

You'll have a great selection of food in Luminae, and the smaller venue feels like specialty dining. You can order from the MDR menu also. You'll probably be able to get a nice discount on specialty dining on the first and last night just for the asking.

You may like the Silhouette Sunset bar area better after the Revolution. The grass areas on either side at the rear have been removed and there is a lot more seating around the bar.
That sounds really nice. It's too bad that the Sunset Bar on the Edge is so unappealing.

I was wondering if you have cruised on the Silhouette. If yes, why do you prefer the Reflection over the Silhouette?
I've been on Silhouette about 5 times and Reflection once. Reflection Sunset Bar is different....it has more lounge seating. Reflection Oceanview Cafe is on the same deck as the pool and solarium, so if you want to bring food to your lounge chair you don't have to go down a level.
-
The Reflection is my favorite ship. The area between the Lawn Club and the Sunset Bar is nice and quiet, as is the promenade on deck 5. The only outdoor area that feels crowded to me is the outdoor pool, especially between 10 AM and 4:30 PM.
-
You might not want to go back to RC once you've tried Celebrity! It's so much finer!

Oh thank you for posting. I live in Ft Lauderdale and just booked on Equinox next year so this made it feel like a real possibility.

I love aft-facing hump balconies!

" same division " ???
We can book in either $ US or $ Canadian on their website or onboard.
LOL-- I " almost " made a political statement about your " same division " comment, but, but, I " chickened out " for fear of " getting the hook " from CC.
Very funny. Yes, RCCL sales is divided into regions of the world. U.S. and Canada both fall within the North America division. Citizens of either can book directly through that office. U.S. travel agents can sell to citizens/residents of both countries, although not all agencies are setup to accept both currencies. So I would imagine that the same promos are available in both countries.
