  1. My guy at Hal told me that now that ships are sailing full again they are going to stop the promotions.
  2. Check your boarding pass a few days before and arrival time should be there and in the Navigator.
  3. I just returned from there. Did a salsa and salsa shore excursion. There were no problems in the tourist zone. Did not feel unsafe at any time. It’s still not my favorite port but the tour was fun.
  4. Yes 4 and 5* can enter as soon as the Terminal opens. Boarding usually starts around 11:30 and boarding group A boards first Also Pinnacle/Neptune suite and Club Orange.
  5. I waitlisted through my personal cruise consultant and he updated me. A couple of times. Finally told me it wasn’t available I did have to put down a deposit
  6. Probably because the ship returns to San Diego before cruising to Hawaii therefore it will reset in San Diego. You won’t need a boarding pass for Hawaii since you are BtoB you’ll just receive an intransit card to get back on the ship. I love the app for showing hour to hour events and being able to book shore excursions and much more
  7. Yes your boarding passes will be in the app on the home page. You can also find it in the app under account/wallet.
  8. There is no time on your pass because it is too early to post it. Check it again about a week before your cruise and it should show up then.
  9. Email. Navigator.support@hollandamerica.com i had an old cruise stuck in my app and I emailed them and they fixed it
  10. Probably a lot of kids. Didn’t Hal just recently have a kids sail free promo?
  11. We call by arrival time. The early people have to wait.
  12. It was a big mess at the port yesterday. We had a full ship and boarding was delayed. 100’s of people showed up way before their boarding time and would not take advice to find a place to sit in the nearby shaded area or go check out the events close by which created the biggest mess I have ever seen at the port. if you like to stand in the hot sun for hours then arrive early otherwise stash your luggage at your hotel and go enjoy this beautiful city until your boarding time
  13. If there are no delays ie: the ship is in time, no delays in debark etc then the port will open around 10:30 but boarding doesn’t start until around 11:30 IF no delays. Remember official boarding time is 1 pm but they always try to start boarding earlier. So if you go in at 10:30 you have to sit around and wait inside and it is cold in there.
  14. No you won’t have to wait in line. Just don’t arrive before the port is open.
  15. 5* yes. Port usually opens around 10:30 if there are no delays. But they won’t be boarding the ship at that time. You’ll just be sitting around waiting for boarding to start and that depends on how fast they can get the ship ready after debark. Official boarding time is 1 pm but they try to get that started earlier.
  16. Print your boarding pass (again if you have already done so) close to your sail date to get your boarding time because if your boarding pass says “boarding time not assigned” then you have to go in behind everyone else that has a time.
  17. Hmm. I see that. I don’t know how he knows. I’ll have to ask him about my Nov 19th sailing which I think will be full. Maybe if it’s a full ship the port knows ahead of time.
