  1. That is what they do but they need a bar code to scan.
  2. How about the train? I’m researching this now and the train is only about 30 minutes directly to the airport.
  3. Maybe Hal changed back to regular arrival times again.
  4. It was a mess. Holland sent an email to every passenger telling them that because there were 2 ships in port to arrive before 11am or after 2. our little port cannot handle this many people at one time. it was a very difficult morning
  5. Also Ubers are allowed in to pick up passengers from Debark.
  6. Ubers are allowed in the gate as soon as the port opens at around 10:30. Sometimes earlier for Holland. there is one line until you get through security (a second line for people who do not have a barcode or Navigator) to have their boarding pass reprinted) after security there are priority check in areas
  7. You could get inside the terminal early but Boarding the ship usually starts at 11:30 and then boarding group A goes first.
  8. Did you try logging out then back in to the app? Maybe that can rest it for you
  9. Try logging out and then back in? I went on to the website and logged in then tried to access “check in” to see if they assigned my stateroom yet and it won’t let me in. It will let me check out shore excursions and stuff but not the check in. It says I’m already checked in on another browser. I logged off navigator to tried again on web site but I keep getting the same message. I don’t sail for a few weeks and I’m not worried. It was just frustrating.
  10. That’s how many people are scheduled for those specific tit
  11. BOTTOM LINE If you do not have a bar code then reprint it a few days before or until you see the bar code. The bar code gets you ON THE SHIP. No bar code you have to go to another line to get it reprinted. If you don’t reprint it and it shows your arrival time TO BE ASSIGNED then your arrival time reverts to AFTER 2 PM. It will not say that on your boarding pass but that is what it will be. Download the navigator app which will show your bar code and assigned time in addition to printing it out. arrival time and boarding time are 2 different times. Boarding times are groups A, B,C etc ll
  12. Yes but that is not free red bus Sandiegan is talking about. I think he’s talking about the free shuttle from airport to old town trolly station that can stop by Laural st and that stop is about a mile from the port.
  13. Wow! I never heard of this bus. I tried to look it up but can’t find the link. Could you post the link for us?
  14. You can drive in but not until the port opens at 10:30 you can walk luggage in before that but usually not until 9:30 or when the porters are ready from working debark.
  15. Just remember boarding the ship doesn’t start until 11:30. the port usually opens at 10:30 if no delays so if you arrive at 10:30 you’ll sit inside the terminal for an hour or so.
  16. Arrival time and priority boarding are 2 different things. Some people have priority boarding which is “ boarding group A” ie, but maybe a later arrival time. 4* 5* Neptune Suite and Orange Club will have priority arrival time (which is anytime) and Priority boarding.
  17. Could be 10 minutes or 30 but if you don’t mind waiting then no problem for you. Most people want to get going. I only posted this as a time saving tip.
  18. Remember when you used to check in and were given a room key card that was scanned when you got in the ship? Well now your room keys are outside your stateroom door and your boarding pass bar code is what gets you on the ship
  19. Yes but if no bar code you have to have it reprinted at the pier and if many people do not have the bar code you could be stuck in a long line waiting for that to happen. I posted this to let people know it’s just easier for them to get through the process if you have the bar code as it is SCANNED TO GET ON THE SHIP.
  20. I highly recommend the Navigator app. It has everything you need. Plus a printed copy in case you have phone problems
  21. If you do not have a bar code on your printed boarding pass it means you printed it out too early and then you may be stuck in a long secondary line waiting to have your boarding pass reprinted. If you have the navigator app the bar code will be there on your boarding pass. wait a few days before your cruise to print it out.
  22. Did this happen to you just post Covid? It was a mess due to the Covid testing holding everything up but now it is so much more organized. I hope you cruise from there again and see the difference.

  25. Once you get through security it’s very easy especially with checking in by facial recognition. I admit it was pretty bad just post Covid with everyone having to take a Covid test which backed everything up but it’s so easy now.
