Thoroughly enjoying cruise but sorry to miss Horta. I too missed the M&M. My invite was incorrect. I stopped by Observation and then Panorama. Didn't see anything that looked like the M&M so I ended up at the solo gathering. Had lunch with Barbara the first day and talked a bit to David. Hope to meet more of you maybe on the next trip.

Emtbsam - Are you confirmed on that leg? I'm on a wait list for legs 2 and 3 - Tahiti to Sydney. I was told I would not be confirmed until the spring (hoping April). I plan to check with the cruise consultant when I'm on the TA.

I assume Larry's Limo would go from MIA to Port Everglades? I'm only one but, like others said, I don't want to take a shuttle with lots of stops. I'm willing to pay for a private car.

Thanks, Emtbsam -- We're wait listed for a verandah also. One year the butler opened the divider and the next year he was told it could not be done. But if we do get a verandah, I will definitely ask for the divider to be opened. I'm just hoping we can get on the two legs we want!

Glad to hear the good reports on the Terrace Suites. I'm on the wait list for two legs of next year's world and have requested a Terrace. A friend and I will each have a cabin so we thought it would be nice to not have the divider.

A friend and I will be in Portimao in April and the ship's tours are sold out. So I need some suggestions. I looked on Trip Advisor and Viator but I would like a recommendation.

I searched this forum but could only find postings from 2012.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your responses. I booked this TA because I've not been to the Azores so I wanted to book a tour for each stop. I'm solo on the TA and meeting up with a friend in Lisbon for the second leg. And we'll want to take some excursions on that one.

I'll just keep checking every day!

I'm 87 days out from a TA on the Spirit and would like to book shore excursions. When I click on "Excursions" I get a note saying I cannot book until 90 days prior to the sailing date.

Has anyone else had problems with this? Dining and spa times have been booked with no problem.

Once again SS took my $250 to be put on a wait list for two legs of the 2018 World. They wait listed me a couple of months ago and then said it was a mistake and refunded the $250. Now I'm back on the list.

In 2014 on the Spirit I was able to have the door opened. When I asked in 2015, I was told no.

I received a call from my TA today and she said both legs have been deleted because it was too early to book anything. It was a mistake and our money will be refunded. She was told that we could rebook in January. Don't quite understand since our $250 deposit was only to put our names on a wait list.

A friend and I are waitlisted for legs 2 and 3. I was told we will not have final details until spring of 2017, after Silversea knows how many passengers will be sailing the full world.

We were there last December on a Sunday and everything (including some restaurants) were closed. Of course, there was also a marathon that day so that may have had something to do with the restaurants in the port area being closed.

We did it last December and I highly recommend it. We made 5 or 6 food stops, with beverages at a couple. It was a walking history tour of Falmouth which was very interesting,

We always eat at The Parrot Club which is just a block behind the Sheraton. We've done lunch and dinner there and will definitely go back in December.

I was in Georgetown on a Sunday last December and EVERYTHING was closed including some of the restaurants.
