1. In reading about My Bar at Sunset House, I'm confused about the distance. Someone on another thread said it was 1 mile from the tender pier and walkable. However Capt BJ says it's 8 miles south of town which does not sound walkable.

My Bar was our first choice but if it is in fact 8 miles maybe we'll go to Paradise.

Suggestions/opinions?

2. Thanks for the water taxi info. Since we're staying at ES prior to our cruise, we can go back there after the cruise and check our luggage. We just have to decide if we want to do that or pay $50 for a day room at the Rodeway Inn. But these boards have shown some negative comments about Rodeway. Any suggestions?

3. Thanks for the taxi prices and the alternative tour, Blue Water. Even though I've been to Tortola several times, I'll be traveling with two friends who have never been. I'm sure they'll enjoy just walking around and then going to Pussers for lunch.

4. A friend and I are trying to decide between the Cloud or Spirit for a TA in April. Does anyone know who the hotel director, cruise director and chef might be on the Cloud at that time?

5. Did you select them because they were 25% ss or were you just lucky? A 50% ss when the base price is nearly $10,000 hurts. I'm still trying to find someone who wants to come- several friends are sort of to very interested but not ready to make any sort of committment. And Mr5W is not interested.

I guess I would say both. I knew what cruises I wanted and they just happened to be 25%. When I was on in November, I got a listing from the cruise consultant. I saw that there was one in December 2014 at 25% and I convinced friends to join me.
6. All of my SS cruises have been with a 25% single supplement except for the recent holiday cruise. While on that cruise, I booked a cruise for December 2014 with a 25% single supp, a 5% on board credit, and the Venetian Society credit. Also while on board I got a list of reduced single supp cruises from the cruise consultant. There are several that are 25%.

7. Duct tape -- thanks so much for recommending Michael for the tapas tour in Malaga. He was more than wonderful and we couldn't believe the fabulous food! If we go back, we will definitely do it again and I'm recommending him to all my friends and my travel agent too.

8. Mary Ann -- Hope you're having a wonderful cruise! Is the ship decorated for the holidays? I'm trying to convince a friend to take the 12/12/14 cruise but he loves the holidays and doesn't want to be away from his tree and decorations. I thought if I could tell him the ship was decorated, he might change his mind.

9. This is a wonderful company if you want to do a tapas tour in Malaga. We visited 4 places on our recent TA and not only do I highly recommend Michael but I will do it again if I go back to Malaga. He is very knowledgeable and the food and wine were wonderful. He offers other tours too.

10. I just got upgraded to a Category 1 cabin with a French balcony for my Paris/Normandy Uniworld cruise next month. After reading these postings, I'm not sure it's a positive thing. I always have a balcony on ocean ships so I can go outside. I don't like the idea of having the door open and getting bugs in my room! I did have a true balcony on my Douro River cruise. The cabin size was reduced by the size of the balcony but since it was only me, I didn't mind.
