  1. Here's another: Adventure of the Seas is supposed to sail tomorrow (Monday 11/8) from Galveston, we hope to be boarding!

But it hasn't been on the CDC list for months as it was sailing out of Nassau Bahamas. I assumed (incorrectly) that it would be appearing on the CDC list since it was sailing from the US after the drydock.

I'm relieved to find out it isn't the only ship not showing!

Anyone on the Nov. 8 cruise receive anything definite about cancellation? We are booked on the Nov. 12 cruise and are just wondering.

We are/were booked on Nov 8 and Nov 12, but haven't received an email on the Nov 8 sailing. But Nov 8 shows as Cancelled on our My Cruises?

After getting cancelled on 10/29 and 11/3, really hoping Adventure is back in revenue service very soon!  Onboard Independence now & Loyalty Ambassador mentioned something about test sailing, which I hadn't thought about before.

  3. Wife had planned on a solo 5-nighter on Adventure on 11/3/21 out of Galveston in an aft balcony, but just received a cancellation email from RCCL. (She was also booked on the 10/29 cruise which was also cancelled a few weeks ago.) Same reason about dry dock inspection.

Now she's on the phone with Royal trying to rebook to another 2021 Galveston sailing. Letter says she's price protected even in a 7-night Liberty OTS but unsure what cabin will be available. Also worried that she'll lose the additional 2x points promo... We'll see.

  4. Original trip: Eastbound TA orig Allure sail date of 24 APR 2022

    Date moved: 28 Sept 2021

Allure category: Central Park View Balcony

Wonder category: Central Park View Balcony

Are you happy or disappointed?  We were reassigned to the same stateroom number on Wonder, but unfortunately configuration changed from a non-connecting cabin to a connecting cabin.  Just called the C&A D+ desk and the 1st agent moved us to an open non-connecting CP View balcony on Deck 12.  I specifically questioned him to confirm this cabin change would not change the fare and he said correct.  We were shocked when the updated confirmation hit our e-mail because the cruise fare more than doubled!!!  I immediately called back to get this corrected.  After speaking to a different agent and a brief hold for supervisor, the 2nd agent came back and said not to worry, the pricing will be corrected in a few days so be patient.

California passed prop 12 in 2018 and takes effect 1/1/22. Called the pig law and they are now expecting a 50% reduction in pork products as farmers have failed to expand the living space for pigs. $10 a pound  bacon at Costco not far away. Pig farmers have been trying to negotiate with Newsom but failed.

Here's another point of view. I don't see where Gov Newsom is responsible at all.
