  1. Our day on ARUBA. We woke up right before our 8:00 alarm. Breakfast in WJ. Back to cabin. Got our stuff to leave the ship. We decided months ago we would walk into town. Now. We wanted too, it was planned all along. But the cabbies would take you but price negotiable. We heard anywhere from $15 to $25. (Rip off). As we left the RCI security gate we started being attacked by the “Pamphlet- people” We declined there offering. Just an FYI: When you walk the walk the ground is asphalt and some old buses travel by near the beginning. You can smell Smokey diesel. So now that we are in town I go to the spouse let me guess. We walked about 2 miles????? He goes nope. From cabin to here .76 of a mile. BUMMER! So we did touristy stuff. Shopped and more “Pamphlet people”. Persisten as the were we were able to keep walking and prevent harming a tree with a paper trail. So now we are just sitting on a bench and a trolly car goes by. And I go that looks interesting. So we board the Free trolly. It was a nice relaxing cool air breeze drifting by. A few stops but we stayed on. We were first row and loved the leg room and breeze. Bought 2 - 20oz Diet Coke $2 each. I saved our seats and spouse stepped into a store to get them. Did the loop and back to starting point. Walked back to ship. Some pictures to view. Be safe.
  2. Breakfast in WJ. CROWDED!!!! We see so much in wasted food. My breakfast.
  3. This was waiting in our cabin last night. It came after the show.
  4. The entres on the CK MENU do not interest me. Getting spaghetti off children’s menu.
  5. Ship News. We are hearing that there are a group of teen girls vandalizing the guest pictures/posting on doors. They have been drawing inappropriate pictures and removing as well as destroying personal items. It is happening late in the evening. We are on the 9th floor and have seen some of their Handy work. Reports have been filed with security and guest services and their response is lame. Guest are being told when you see this call security and they will come up. WOW. By the time they would get to the area. They would be long gone. Folks if you see any misbehavior snap a picture of the group. Maybe something more can be done. Be safe.
  6. Ended up there Saturday night. Card games. Mostly computer screen slot machines 3 slot real machines. I was entertained for hours on one with only $50 initial startup.

  10. In these days of artificial intelligence. I am sure I am the poster child.
  11. Suite lounge full for Happy hour. Nice selection of hour devours.
  12. Some general observations. Solarium is beautiful. We got there at 9:30 am and found two loungers first row overlooking ocean. It seemed that 10am was the onset of many guest. It got packed. No ice buckets in room. If you want ice ask on first day. King bed might be on the harder side but very comfy. New hair dryer in our cabin. A tad bigger than older one and dried my hair in the usual time. It’s power reminded me of a con air but RCI you still have to hold button down to keep it going. Guest have been very accommodating especially at the elevators. Windjammer selection nice variety. Towels nice and fluffy. Bartenders abundant. There everywhere. Giving cans of pop out during the open bar time in suite lounge. OK Today I’m watching the news. I cannot remember Radio’s favorite station??? Be safe.
  13. Now mind you RCI has been known to move slot machines around from cruise to cruise. HOWEVER. If you walk in to the casino to the left as you go by studio b. ( ice skating rink) when you enter casino there will be machines to your right. In a row. On top they are called Spitfire. They give free spins in groups of 7 if you hit the 3 “bonus” symbols you get bonus spins with a multiplier to win more money. Also. I usually spend the first eve after dinner in casino. I do not go on Second day. Always few hits not talking big jackpots but little tokens of appreciation. Best of luck.
  14. This cruise was needed in so many ways!!! These last few months have been non stop busy. Traveling every Sunday to Oxford Ohio a mere 4 - 1/2 hour ride with pit stop. Then Every Wednesday driving home in the evening. Well I made my last drive the week before the cruise. And I knew it was coming but did not expect it now. And it was memorable. A going away gift was getting.Noro virus. Yup you guessed it. A cruise in less than 6 days and I am best friends with the Porcelain bowl and a bucket. I hadn’t threw up in over 35 years, but in conjunction with that sitting on the thrown. It was the 24 hour type. And what affected me most was the tiredness. It hit after the kids went to work. Zoey was a trooper, kept bringing her binkies and toys. What made it more memorable is I did my last Pilgrimage to Oxford. I had made a brief mention of what was going on a few weeks back. But I got the official statement to share just recently. Brandon is the new assistant strength and conditioning coach at BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY. Double salary. Better working conditions. Daughter s salary will be tripled going independent with an agency backup. I will now be able to leave Monday morning at 5 am. And come home Wednesday evening. The drive will be 2 - 1/2 hours. I will be able to spend weekends camping and get an early starting Monday in June. That is why this cruise is so meaningful to just chill. Take care.
  15. Good morning. Bright eyes and awake. Off the coast of Cuba. Be safe.
