Thanks. We'll be in on the Anthem. Not sure which Pier???

So which Pier is the Payless at? Or does it not matter if my husband gets a taxi to whichever rental agency has the best deal? Just trying to make it as less hassle as possible when we get there.

Yes -- I know it's Disney Springs. I just have called it Downtown Disney for years.

  2. Does anyone know if Payless is inside the security gate so you can get van and go back to ship to pick up rest of the group (7 people) WITHOUT having to go back through the security point?

We're there from 12-9:30 and are heading to Downtown Disney. Would just like to beat the car rental rush so we can enjoy more time at Disney.

  3. Oh..... thanks so much for catching this!!!! I thought he was talking about Secret Harbor. Missed that it was the restaurant on Sapphire. So the restaurant/grill to the left when looking at a picture of Secret Harbor is still open??? I think it may be called Sunset Grill?

  4. How much is a taxi to Secret Harbor per person?

It looks like there may be 3 resorts there.... which one will let you in? What if we didn't want to swim but just have lunch at the casual restaurant overlooking the water? If we did decide to rent chairs, which resort may rent?

  5. Thanks for this information. I had to chuckle when you said $ is no object. We're pretty conservative, but do love wonderful views. :) I had found a couple restaurants in Old Town that may be good alternatives. Topolo or Pedro & Lola’s. They just don't have the ocean view. Any experience with either of these?

Now that we're looking at our time in Cabo, we may not squeeze in the Hacienda after all. We may grab a taco at one of the Mariana restaurants.

  6. I just posted on another thread, but thought I'd ask specifically here for a beachfront restaurant in Mazatlan that's a little on the classy side. I've looked through TripAdvisor and Diego’s Beach House looks like a good view, but looks a very beachy/party atmosphere. Then I looked at Mr. Lionso/Playa Bruja, but it looks a little run down. Not wanting four-stars, but something with a beautiful view. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  7. The Mariana stroll will probably be good.

We found a restaurant Hacienda Cocina which is 5-minutes by taxi or water taxi. It looks beautiful!! Our ship is only in from 7-2 though. So if we do a whale-watching tour, 2 hours, I wonder if there's enough time to fit this in. Any idea how long the Princess process is to tender off? If we're over at 8 and leave on boat tour at 9, back at 11. Then there's not a lot of time before the last tender at 1:30.

  8. We've been to Mazatlan twice. I think a tour twice where we did the cathedral and dropped off at a street of shopping. It doesn't seem memorable. We may have seen the cliff divers.

I don't remember spending any real time in old town. But from some pictures I googled, it looks nice. Kind of like Old San Juan. Is there much there? Little shops, restaurants?

We have a party of 8. One of the open-air trucks may be nice to get. If we got one where should we have it go before dropping us off in old town for lunch or should we go to somewhere on the beach to eat? Any suggestions?
