It is a remote position. Starlink isn't fast enough for my job, I generally need 500mb to 1gb of speed. That being said, I start with 4 weeks of vacation, so we can continue doing 2 or 3 cruises a year. 😀

Thanks for doing the video and sharing it. Suzi and I felt like we were back on our Christmas cruise when they had the cake festival.

Good morning Dailyites and thank you for the Daily Report! I will post an update here if I hear anything today about the job. On our HAL cruise last month, we were sitting in port at Grand Turk. It was mostly overcast, and cool, with some rain and a very windy day. We stayed onboard and spent most of the day in the aft Seaview pool area. We noticed the ship seemed to shake for a couple of seconds several times an hour. Just after the horn was heard that we were leaving port in the next thirty minutes, the captain had his afternoon talk. He spoke about what we felt that day and his explanation was the following. We had waves hitting the ship at the same time as winds blew in the opposite direction. He said the ship had the “shivers”. The reason for this story is that when we heard our forecast for this weekend last night, the weather girl said we would get the shivers on Saturday and Sunday if we were out and about in the morning, Suzi and I both looked at each other at the same time and I said the “shivers” we had on the NS were warmer than the “shivers” we will have this weekend… 😊

Thanks everyone for the positive thoughts for the interview today. I just finished the final interview, and I thought it went very well. My toes are crossed I will get an update later today or an offer sometime tomorrow. 🙂 Thanks again for your support!
