    In 24 Carnival cruises we had never been to the steakhouse until our last cruise on the Magic this past October. I wish we didn't go this time. Terrible cut of meat. Worst we have had at sea or maybe anywhere for that matter. Slow inattentive service. I wrote Carnival but never heard anything back. They got us once but never again.

    No ship excursions will have to make their way up the hill. Last year there were taxis that would take you up the hill for $2.

    Somone posted to carry your vax card in case. There is no in case. It is not needed. Just your passport and boarding pass.

    We found the MDR to be pretty good. The buffet was terrible. From cold to stale. You name it. The Steakhouse awful. Worst cuts of meat, not cooked right, terrible service.

    I have seen both police and city parking authorities monitoring the garages. YMMV. I am just relaying our experiences and what we have seen. You may be able to get by with it by parking there the night before. There is a garage directly across from the entrance to Half Moone. About a 2 minute walk.

    I am unaware of any that provide shuttle. The closest hotels to the port are the Marriott and Hilton on Main. There is also a Sheraton a little bit further down Waterside drive.

    In the past we were lucky enough to park there for a cruise. The past two years they block off all city owned garages to cruisers and you will not be allowed to park there.

    We finally went recently on the Magic to the Steakhouse for the very first time after 22 cruises. It was the worst experience ever. From the inattentive service to the worst cuts of steak possible it was all terrible. They got our $84 but never again.

    We had that same cabin, same ship, but on a caribbean cruise. We paid $3600 for the week.

    Once boarding starts I would guess that your group is called within 10 minutes easy.

    You will be able to select your check-in time at midnight EST. For our last cruise I set my alarm to wake up a few minutes prior. Just kept refreshing my screen till it showed up.

    My experience is that the entrance will be monitored, blocked off, and they will not allow you to park in that parking garage for the cruise. It would be so convenient being it is right across the street.

    We have been in 2470 many times on that class of ship with once being the Liberty. It is indeed a much larger cabin and has two windows. You will feel vibrations. If that is a bother to you then I would not recommend booking back there. We personally love it and is always the first cabin we look to see if it is available.

    All I did was point to my left breastbone area and they told me to step around the scanner so they could hand wand me. Easy peasy.

    My brother- in-law has cruised twice recently with a birth certificate card from Virginia. No problem either time.

    This question comes up a lot. There has not been one post on here where someone reported having it stolen out of the mailbox. But should it happen just go to guest services and get a new one. They can remove the fraudulent charges from your account. Also, cameras are everywhere. They will know who stole it.

    I have never been propositioned on a ship. Man I've been missing out.

    They were offered comped cruise, wiped sail and sign, $1500 cash, and I believe $2000 FCC. And supposedly must sign an agreement. There is a video floating around that shows the Captain speaking to the passengers explaining the offer.

    Yes, she does an amazing Adele cover. We loved the drummer too. Did you get to see him come out front and sing Back in Black by AC/DC? The female lead played drums during that song. It was amazing. They are all so talented. We lived in Red Frog when they were playing.

    We were on the Pride back in March and agree about MashUp Band. They are so good!
