So far we have gotten good value from the photo portion of the premiere package. You can view and download the digital pictures in the app - I think we have around 30 already. I have been able to easily download most of them but a few that are of the kids without me in them are available to view but not download. I was worried that might happen since it works with facial recognition but hopefully the photo department people will still let me have them…

Today is Ketchikan, which means we put our clocks back one hour. Trouble is, I’m not sure if our devices automatically set themselves back or if I need to do it manually so no idea if it’s 7am or 8am right now. Everyone else is still sleeping so I can’t turn on the tv to check. Another reason I hate the lack of outlets is not being able to have my phone next to the bed (if it’s charging) to check the time… Our plans fir Ketchikan are to walk around Creek Street and check out the shops, look for spawning salmon and then walk over to our favourite bar/restaurant for lunch - The Asylum and Burger Queen

I found the mattresses on both sofa bed and bunk a little hard for my liking (I tried them out) but both teens find them very comfortable.

Room observation: Thus far, I have only been able to find two outlets in our mini suite. I have sailed in balconies on Royal Princess previously and they have had the USB on the lamps. This mini does not have them. Anyone have any inside knowledge If I’m missing an outlet somewhere? For four guests, two outlets is nowhere near enough

Very few are wearing masks and it’s not enforced. Even some of the cruise staff do not have them on.

Ship is a little rocky now. Maybe sailing closer to the storm? Definitely not too bad and not affecting us but very windy outside and some decent swells. Not sure if I’m swaying due to the ocean or the margaritas

I didn’t even notice this yesterday. Luckily, we don’t want them!

Girls got their nails done

Wifi has been great so far (in Vancouver it was glitchy so stuck to data). Since leaving port we have had 4 devices connected with no issue

Lunch at Concerto interesting note - the lunch waiter is the same waiter we had at Allegro last night. He remembered our drink orders! Impressive. Crew so far have been outstanding

I would have challenged it IF they had made me pay for pax 1 and 2 (since pax 2 is a minor I was able to add it just for myself) and IF I had bought it solely for the drinks - the only reason I got the upgraded package was for the photos so I’m not too bummed.

Bartender at Bellinis just made me a mimosa with the Nicholas Veututi (or whatever that expensive Champagne is called). It’s fabulous

It definitely feels like princess introduced these upgraded packages and new drinks without actually checking that the ships had the stuff onboard. The bar staff are great and very apologetic. It’s not their fault. Which leads me to my next conundrum. I ALWAYS carry $1 bills an tip a couple bucks per drink. This time I’m hesitant simply because I’ve already paid an upcharge on the package so paid extra grats but not getting anything extra in terms of drinks. I’m torn. It’s not the fault of the staff..but…Thoughts? Opinions?

Ended up with regular mimosa

Tried to order Mermaid Mimosa. Canceled as none of the more expensive sparkling wine available. Tried to order watermelon margarita but canceled as none of the more expensive tequila available.
