OK I have now booked the "Bon Voyage Experience" for some guests of mine to come onboard before departure and have a tour and lunch with wine and then a photo. Looking forward to it.
Emerald Princess departing on the 2nd January and then backing up for the 10th January departure. Cruising to Tasmania then onto NZ South Island.

Can anyone tell me if the "Bon Voyage Experience" will be available on the Emerald Princess when it starts its Aussie season and if it does is it still the $39.00 per person for 4 hours including lunch.

Look forward to your Emerald Princess posts. Both wife and I will be doing a B2B on the Emerald starting 2nd January, 2017.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, I have organised Roll Calls and Meet & Greet or Meet & Mingles on a few cruises now but as you say this call is very quite. Could be just as the posts say . . . people on these short cruises just want to do their own thing. OH well! Thanks again for your comments.

Hi all,
Will be doing this B2B cruise on the above dates but so far there has been little response to say a Roll Call or Meet & Greet. If you are thinking of going or really are going, drop me a reply and we can start up a List of all passengers with the intention of getting together, meeting one another. Remember there are two cruises I am talking about . . . one to Tasmania on the 2nd January and then one to NZ South Island on the 10th January.
Hope to hear from you.

Sailaway John is doing a B2B cruise on the Emerald Princess from 2nd January 2017 to the 21 January 2017. Tasmania first then South Island of New Zealand.

No Libby. You have to have at least 150 cruise days (nights) before they look at Elite. they have to be completed days/nights and on the 151st day on a cruise you are Elite.

Being from Australia we do not have the problem with the opening of wine bottles. All bottles produced and sold in Australia except for imported overseas bottles, have the screw top . . . very handy indeed.

Some people have lousy hygiene habits and do not wash their hands after toilet and/or before going to the buffet or dining rooms.

I hear that she is specifically designed for the Chinese market . . . is that true . . . if so, what a waste.

Well here is a notice re the Meet & Greet on Dawn Princess cruising to P.N.G. on the 19th May 2016.
All all those who have notified me on the Roll Call can attend.
To join the Roll Call just go to that category and then the Dawn Princess section. Thanks, Sailaway John

Against the law . . . Dangerous . . . what about passengers on decks above having their views blocked. You wanted Caribe deck and you got it . . . put up with it and go for another deck next cruise.

Totally Agree Happy Snapper.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a Happy Hour on Dawn Princess. Had a great time at the Happy Hour on Diamond Princess but will be on the Dawn Princess in May this year. If there is one how does it work . . . . buy 1 get 1 . . . or buy 1 get 1 half price.
Thanks

Thanks for all the replies. I only want to bring the extra 2 bottles on board and I can buy good wine at around $15 - $20 per bottle at Dan Murphy's then add the $15 the ship charges and that still only comes to say $30.00 a bottle . . . whereas the ship prices start at around $40.00 and higher.
-
Would like to take 2 extra bottles of wine on board when embarking in Sydney. Quite willing to pay and understand that there is a $15 surcharge. But what is the procedure to get it on board. Declare it or just see what happens?
-
Sorry about that wrong statement. I read the intro wrong. My apologies.
-
That ship does not look like the Diamond Princess. More of one of the P&O fleet.
-
Both place at the moment hoping to get more people to the Roll Call and Meet & Greet.

The Roll Call is starting to pick up now. Also looking at another cruise in late 2016. Thinking about the Emerald or Golden . . . any ideas which ship to use?
