We have been on 30 cruises and have never had bad service from waiters or stewards. If service is average we do not tip extra. However, if service is above average then we give additional tips accordingly.
I spent my career in insurance and have been on over 30 cruises. Cruise line insurance is overpriced for the coverage you get. In addition read the hundreds of posts on these boards and see who the cruise line insurance companies side with when there is a dispute. You need to customize the insurance to the coverages you need not just generic coverage provided by the cruise line.
You can transfer after final payment date .. just did it 2 months ago. Also, the past several years they have been trying to prevent 2 people from booking cabins for 3 and 4 .. especially balconies and suites.
This is a 14 day cruise. Our friends did a back to back .. security stopped them .. showed them both sets of boarding passes .. and they let them take them on.
Not sure what Carnival did to tick you off. We love to cruise all the lines. They all have something special to offer. We cruise when kids are in school, do not do weekend cruises, and prefer 8 to 15 night cruises. Have never had a bad cruise.
LOL .. you know all pricing for all cruise lines is dynamic. They go up and down every day/week. I just did a Royal 8 night in an aft balcony for $1,288.
And you put Carnival Platinum in your signature ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I referenced Diamond just to show that just because I have cruised Royal a lot doesnโt mean I think they are the best or do everything right. I have not drank the koolaid from any single cruise line.
