Going on Allure. I see it is $150 each. Checked Carnival's and their's is $55 to $95. Why is Royal's so expensive?

Did they give you any "presents?" Do you have to wear long pants? I know closed shoes.

There is a fort you can walk to. Walk around Old Town. Interesting. Last time we were there, we had a guide take us around (tried to find out where I lived as a child - couldn't find it). Anyway we were there from two until midnight. Things started closing around five. This time we are just walking around Old Town since we didn't see much since it was closing.

A couple times (years ago) I got a bon voyage decoration package. Also some cookies for our girls (they stayed in another room).

If you don't want to dress fancy, don't worry about it. If you want to get something dressy, there are good clearance sales everywhere. Are you having a formal or casual wedding? Like could you wear something from that?

Okay I see you have a June first cruise. We have a June fifth cruise that we booked a long time ago. You can't change it this close to sailing can you? I mean the current promotion.

I am not a employee from Royal but know someone who works on one of the ships. He told me what he made. Yes it wasn't super bad and included room and board but worked many hours to receive it. The spa and photography people are contract people so they pay room and board. The waiters and room attendants rely on tips. If they don't make eight hundred a month, Royal will pay them. And this does happen.

I will pay the higher price of tips. If I get lousy service, I can change it.

Oh this person works in the theatre part.

Thanks We aren't big drinkers. Mainly drink water but bottled water. I know we won't have enough hands to carry them on the boat.

I see things changing all the time. What drinks are included on Royal now? Allure specifically.

I retired a little early (last year)(too young for social security). June lst I was free.

Husband officially retired January lst (got a good deal). Anyway spent two months between heading south and back up. Took the slow route. Did St. Augustine, Daytona, Disney, Destin, etc. Did some sightseeing going back north. It was nice.

I am willing to give them a little more money for good service.

Recommended tips are going up May first. I was debating about prepaying but after talking to someone who works on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, I am willing to pay the extra money for the waitress/room attendant. If you get lousy service, you can pull it out. Anyway, these people only get paid for what they make in tips.

That's why everyone is different. We started out doing all inclusive vacations (honeymoon) but then decided to "see the USA". Traveling by plane outside of USA. Then had kids and traveled in the USA. We skipped cruising last year for the first time. I like to see different places so I watch the itineraries.

We also do other types of vacations.

We use to have walkie talkies with our girls. Maybe now there is something better to stay in contact.
