I know someone who went with a family group. Just got off the cruise this morning. Four night cruise Bahamas Anyway they thought it was boring. But get this - The one who thought it was boring won a ship on a stick in a trivia game. What more could you get? LOL Anyway her relative won a seven day cruise. Wow

What I am saying to newbies is if you don't care to sit in the sun, try some of the activities.

I don't know that I have wore a "lady in red" dress before. Yes I have worn red dresses but not solid red with some sparkles.

I don't wear the same dress but unless it is something unusual, I doubt anyone would remember you wearing the same one.

Got a deal today. Dress was a hundred and with my coupon, I got it for $15. Dressy red dress.

How fast was the service in the dining room for dinner? We have the six o'clock dinner time but also a show or two at seven thirty. Hope we can get out quick enough to get to the shows.

Glad you posted this. Since we are traveling by train, space is limited. I doubt husband will bring a suit. I will wear a dressier dress but mine can be folded very small. I remember the days when we brought formals. Had two daughter with us. Just a separate suitcase for those.

It has been two years since we cruised. So doing the seven night Eastern Caribbean I assume dressy for two nights (church type or cocktail type) and casual meaning?????? I am talking the MDR.

The Kohl's dress is cute. Yes I don't call it formal but then again, formal nights are usually not formal any more.

Just booked Allure's Royal Island tour. Just a couple hours long. Says it goes on both sides of the island and then a photo op place. I don't like drop off places like Saint Thomas. Can anyone tell me the landscape of Saint Marteen. Steep roads or what?

When we do our cruises now we even do laundry at the hotel before and/or after. I know our upcoming place has laundry machines. We are usually gone three or four days before a cruise and same after.

Does Allure have self service laundry? I heard none of Royal's ships do. We use to not do laundry on the ships but lately we have so now I am wondering if they have that option.

I am enjoying this. Been on the Mariner and met a very nice couple. Back in 2010. Still communicate with them and went on another cruise with them. You never know who you may get to know.

I am not cruising now but was curious.
