Those suites sure are high in the sky. LOL I wonder how they are in strong winds or bumpy seas?
-
How much in the future for the data?
-
I got the error also.

I would pay for doggy day care on a cruise but what happens at night?
-
I think your little ones knows your DH. LOL

I like your silver dress. Also your waves didn't even look like white caps but maybe you don't need white caps for feeling the motion. I do think Conquest does feel the motion more. I have noticed that before.
I like to see other ships in the ocean. You don't feel so alone.:)

Thank you to those who told me about the Dogvac. site. We have reserved a spot for our doggy.
-
Our dogs would be boarded or with a dog sitter for ten or eleven nights and then my daughter will be picking them up for the following week. They are use to her. Unfortunately she will be on part of our trip so she can't watch them the whole time.
-
Jen, what kind of dog is yours? Looks cute and tiny.
-
If we put them in a kennel they will be in the same run. Our one dog is mainly blind with cataracts so I am hoping the home environment will be better.
This woman says we can have the meet and greet this weekend and then once again closer to the time.
-
We knocked out a kennel or two that has the doggy group play.
The woman we are looking at for dog sitting works part time as a dog groomer. She has three dogs of her own. She has some good reviews. She says the dogs are never left alone outside (hope not even though it is fenced in). She can not take more than three "guest" dogs in due to the restrictions of her doggy site. So we have two dogs so only one more strange dog. We will see how we feel about it when we go for the meet and greet.

It's good when you find a place that you feel comfortable with for your pups.

Yes this person is suppose to send you various pictures while you are gone of your pets. Of course once we get on the cruise and leave port, I won't be able to check my phone:(

The one person I am mainly interested in only lives about four or five miles from us. Looks like she has watched a lot of dogs. We are going to try to arrange a meet and greet later this week or next weekend (I think).

Thanks. I just went on the dog vac. site. There are a couple in our area. I am leary because we used one once and she didn't realize something was seriously wrong with our dog. One has already replied. Will see what happens:)

We just visited our last spot today. Seems like most of the places in our area leave at night. There is advantages to different ones. Of course the best would be if we could find a in home care place. I am jealous of the places some of you have.

Some of you guys are really lucky for your furry sitters. Usually my daughter takes care of my dogs and we take care of hers. On this upcoming trip, we will be gone almost three weeks. My daughter and husband is going to be on part of the trip and then after ten days, they will get my dogs for the remaining week or so. We have checked out three or four places. Our vet's place? No way Okay for surgeries but that is is. Another vet's place is 2.5 feet wide by 15 feet long. They take the dogs out in a area by themselves at least four times a day (so they say). They can bring their own "comfort stuff". If we go this route, we will have the two dogs together (small dogs). Second choice was a nice new place with inside and outside places but their play area is with other dogs. I have heard of a couple big dogs getting in fights. Advantage owners live on the property with security cameras. Hope to get ahold of a neighbor who may know another neighbor in the neighborhood who sits. I don't want people coming in the house though. Disadvantage of the first place, they are alone from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

I am one of those people. This will be the first time we will probably board our pets due to our dog sitter not being able to watch the dogs the whole time. Even thought of cancelling the cruise (final payment due next week).

Thanks for sharing. Did you get a lot of sand in your dress? Did all those people cruise with you and if so, how many?
-
Lucky to get the dolphin pictures. I have never seen a dolphin from a cruise ship. My husband did but they were gone by the time I got there.
Did the hop on hop off stop at Rosehall mansion or just the mall?

Will be watching for your review also.

Someone was telling me that La Romania tends to get the bad weather when hurricanes come. Any experience anyone? We are doing Grand Turk, La Romania, Curaco?(sp?) and Aruba in June.
