We are due for another one tomorrow. Errrr This winter can end any time.

Well this excursion is a island tour and then to the beach. The tour is only ten dollars more than just the island tour.

So has anyone gone on this tour through Carnival?

We have been on both ships and I got lost on both of them:) Honestly the décor doesn't matter to me. I would say either one.

Those towel creatures must be something new to Carnival. I have only seen them in the rooms not on the chairs outside. Cute idea.

I read the review on the Aruba island tour and then beach and they said there isn't any place to change clothes or sit in the beach area. That the beach chairs belong to a hotel.

Now I talked to someone who was with Princess last week in Aruba and she said they went to a beach with seats for the cruise people and a changing place.

So any experience anyone? We will be on Carnival.

I bought a St. Jude Carnival bear on our last cruise because I was going to give it to a child relative who has cancer. Well turns out they were so crowded in their little room while having treatments so I kept it. Anyway, fast forward to this week.

We are doing a preschool theme on doctors. I bought the bear along with the doctor kit so today I brought the bear to school and told the kids how a nurse or doctor could look likes. They thought it was pretty cool. The bear wore his Carnival shirt and then put on his scrubs and then the doctor coat.

Are the cell phones a new thing or just for parents with kids?

Thanks for all the opinions. I see advantages and disadvantages (disadvantage is $50). Anyway, I guess I should mention that it is just my DH and I. No kids. He thinks it is a ripoff so I am trying to convince him with opinions of other people. Also, maybe it isn't worth it for where we are going.

Going out of Ft. Lauderdale to La Romania, Curacoa, Grand Turk and Aruba. Maybe in Aruba do a cruise sponsored excursion but in Grand Turk a non cruise sponsored excursion. Not sure about the other two islands. Are any of these tender spots? I don't think Aruba is.

We are in 7336 so I am hoping it doesn't creak on us. Was your creaking during bad weather?

Is Faster to the Fun worth it? Do you really save much time on any of the things listed?

How about the dining room reservations? I don't get that part.

I do see this option is available for our cruise. I am debating if it is worth it or does it really make that much difference in time.

I like shopping but we like a little history or little tour but we don't want to spend the whole time on a tour.

I see that Carnival has a trolley tour. It is about forty dollars for maybe a hour or so. My DH is not into beaches:( Not much is thrilling me at this site. So can you find similar trolleys cheaper if you don't book from the cruise line? Also is it a easy walk from the cruise ship to the main part of the town?

What all are the perks on this? I don't see it on my cruise yet. Can only one person in your room get it (save a little money here) or would that work?

I have never heard of any excursions sold out before you get on the ship. Now I have heard shortly into the cruise of excursions being sold out.

I liked the electrician part of your post. Reminds me of the time we went to Cancun (before anyone had heard of it). There was like two hotels there. Anyway as we were leaving the hotel to go back home, we saw the dining room set up for the day. Electric wires coming down poles, dishes set on the tables and bug spray being sprayed around there.

I saw the rusty boat (probably not rusty) that I saw in the distance from your ship. I don't know if I would like to go way out in the ocean in that ship.

Been on Conquest and her sister ships. Did you get lost getting to the dining room sometimes? We did.
