  1. Unless you have FTTF, are Diamond, Platinum, have a suite, or take a Carnival transfer from the airport, you will not be allowed in. Past rules are out the window with staggered check in.

Not sure that's accurate regarding Carnival Transfers.

  2. The website didn't give me a choice, but my check-in documents show 1pm - 3:30pm window...........but I have FTTF. I wish they would get all of their info straight!

With FTTF it doesn't matter what time it says your check in time is. Go and enjoy and do t stress!

  3. Ok another question! If we book 2 side by side balconies, do you think they will let us take down the divider?? Or is this even possible? Never been in a balcony cabin on Carnival.

There are specific balconies that have connecting dividers. Use a TA or a PVP to accomplish this.

  4. If you can't see it on the website, why don't you call Carnival and ask them fix the dining time.

OP booked through a third-party. Carnival will not 'talk' to him/her. OP should contact the third-party to adjust.

  5. I didn't read all the responses but this situation happen to a friend of mine and believe or not they ran to Sam's and signed up and they accepted the ID as a photo ID. Heard the same thing from a health cub.

this was a few years ago.....

With today's laws, there is no way this is acceptable. I question the validity of what you were told. Not calling you a liar but rather what you were told cannot be even close to valid.

You did say a 'few years ago' so maybe this was over 10 years, but even then.....

  6. My birthday was the day before the cruise. We never mentioned my husband's birthday and no one we talked to said anything about his. His was 9 days before the cruise and he received coupons also. And the steward included both our names in the Happy Birthday writing on the mirror.

NOT the steward who is giving the gifts! It's Carnival.

  7. My DS's 22nd birthday was 2 days before our cruise and our room steward gave him a $50 spa certificate and a free 6x9 photo.

It's from Carnival, not your room steward. He just puts it in your cabin.

To the others who have asked, your TA or PVP have to add this to your booking. You can call customer service as well.

  8. And if you look, he edited it, he said yes first

But if I responded before the edit, how was I to know that?? But thanks for pointing out that I responded too late for your satisfaction.

  9. Read their fine print also. In the long run, it may not be a better deal. But it could be. Also, you have full access to the fun shops and excursions and FTTF - a TA does not take that away.

  10. Thank you. That's too bad because we are thinking of a short cruise, but would be nice to have lobster. Guess, we need to reconsider.

Pay the extra for the tail from the Steakhouse OR go to the steakhouse and pay the $35 per person .... You will NOT be sorry!

  11. Congrats. I will be just a year out from my sleeve survey. My plan is to bring a few shakes. In case!!!

You can bring on the premier protein premade shakes in the cartons! Or bring powdered and have bottled water sent to your cabin.

  12. Bring your protein bars. You'll do fine on the cruise. Plenty of protein choices. I cruised 9 months after my gastric bypass last December. Was very easy. Congrats on your loss so far!

  13. I don't get how what someone else is wearing could stop you from having a pleasant experience. Could you explain it please?

Evidently it changes the taste of the food too..... [emoji33][emoji33]

  14. But if the ship requests "no shorts/no flip flops" that should not be too hard to follow. That's why they have the Lido deck and rooms service available.

People should follow rules for a pleasant experience. Why stop others from having a pleasant experience if you can't follow rules?

"Why stop others from having a pleasant experience....."

Seriously? Are you THAT pompous you can enjoy food because someone is wearing something YOU don't approve of? My food tastes the same regardless. Get over yourself!! SMH

  15. What would you do if you saw a young teen throw one of the large chess pieces overboard?

Yes, this did happen and I did witness it. LOL I did do something but now question if that's how I should have handled it.

Report the kid immediately. Now the question is, what did you do and why are you second guessing it?

  16. Vista has an adults only Serenity area on deck 15. No pool but 2 hot tubs and a bar.

As I understand it, the aft Havana pool and hot tubs are available to all who are booked in Havana cabins including children in the family cabins. May be wrong.

That is correct. I do believe that the Havana cabins allow children age 12 and up. So not adults only by any means.
