  1. I'm in a FB group run by my Carnival PVP. Someone asked her yesterday about issues with online check-in and she checked with IT and was told they were aware of the issue and hoped to have it resolved within 24 hours.

Hope it doesn't affect anyone who left online checkin to the last minute!

    Thank you!!!

  2. Is anyone experiencing issues with the manage my cruise tab? I have been trying to update my credit card for 3 days and it keeps erroring out saying there is a problem and they are working on it. Everything else seems to be working but that.

  3. I was watching a video of Allure last night which showed a recent cruise where the hot tubs and pools were closed after 7 PM. There were signs across them stating closing hours at 7 PM.

Can someone confirm that this is always the case or only on certain days?

There was one hot tub that remained open, but with a ship of 5,000 people, one hot tub isn’t gonna cut it!

I was looking forward to a late night under the stars.

I watched the same Youtube vlog. I couldn't believe they were all closed at 7 either. At one point Josh said Why have lights in them if they aren't going to be open in the evening. I agree. That ship is so huge it's hard to believe it.

  4. I am so sad, I don't see the salmon for my lox and bagel...I always ordered that on port days. Oh well, I will have to go to the MDR for the avocado toast :)

On my December Magic cruise I asked for lox to be brought up with my bagel and it was done. No extra charge

it was great. They did get an extra tip however.

  5. Oasis will feel less crowded than Magic and far less lines. As others said, the ship is so well designed it won't feel like there is that many people on board. It actually doesn't feel that big, either. It's laid out in simple "neighborhoods" and the neighborhoods generally go straight up the middle of the ship. Entertainment Place, Promenade above that, Central Park above that, Pool deck above that. Boardwalk is on the back. It's the easiest ship to navigate around and almost impossible to get lost or feel like you are missing something. I think you'll be an instant convert once you realize just how awesome this class of ship is. Nothing compares.

Thank you. I felt the Magic was nothing but lines and it wasn't nearly as big as Oasis. Thanks for the positive comments. I have heard nothing but good about this ship. I just wish it were closer lol.

  6. Funny thing- we just returned from our cruise on the Oasis last week. Our previous cruise was on the Magic!

Compared to the Magic, the ship was noticeably bigger but not in a bad way. Finding our way around was easy, particularly with the "Wayfinder" screens they had in the elevator lobbies. The public areas, particularly central park and boardwalk seemed less crowded than I would expect. The Oasis is a beautiful ship!

As for can't miss, don't miss the ice show or the Aqua Theater performances. BOOK EARLY ONLINE. If you wait a month or less before your sailing, you may not get a reservation.

Yes thank you, we will make sure to book as soon as the cruise planner will allow us.

  7. Can pretty much agree with all of the above. Oasis and her sisters are so well designed that the size is not too overwhelming and we managed to learn our way around quite quickly. No issues with lines or crowding. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. We were on Carnival Magic about 6 months before Oasis and while we liked Magic well enough, Oasis is so much better!

Thank you. I liked the Magic, but it was not my favorite. I'm so excited to sail on Oasis!

  8. We sailed the Oasis four years ago and it's greatest feature for us was that it's the ONLY CRUISE we've ever taken where we did not have to set foot in the buffet EVER. There are soooo many included food venues around the ship we never saw it. Central Park Cafe is fantastic for breakfast and lunch. The solarium cafe serves healthier foods, always had grilled vegetables very tasty food there. It only felt crowded when large shows are assembling or letting out. We were a bit annoyed with having to "schedule" our vacation with shows.....but it worked out fine.

Thank you for the information! This is most helpful!

  9. The only obnoxious line I've ever dealt with on Oasis class is the customs line when you get back. It's pretty rare that I can't get to something I want to get to on the ship in a reasonable time, but then I also don't go to things like the Flowrider and the climbing wall. They've designed the ship really well so that it doesn't feel like there are 6,000 other people riding around with you.

Yes, lol I won't be doing the flowrider or rock wall. I'd probably break my neck!!

  10. We cruised on Oasis for the first time last year and loved it! After a day of walking around you will get used to it and know where you are going. There is actually so much to do and places to eat you really cannot squeeze it all in one week. The aqua theater show is unique to Oasis class so be sure to see it.

Thank you! It sounds really awesome.

  11. I booked a cruise on The Oasis of the Seas. I haven't been on Royal for quite a while. The biggest ship I ever cruised on was the Carnival Magic at 134,000 GT. I am wondering if I will be overwhelmed sailing on this big of a ship? Silly question maybe, but will I get lost? Lol. I am worried about lines and so many people but excited at the same time. I can't wait for this to come. Can anyone tell me the can't miss things on this ship? Thanks in advance!!

  12. Absolutely it's worth it. I love Cheers! I have two 4 day cruises coming up and I will get it for each. I love not having

to worry about what I spend. Also, the extras you get with it, coffee, milkshakes energy drinks, soda and more is so

    worth it to me.

  13. Honestly I have a hard time believing these reports from crew-center, I wouldn't believe too much into this. Just last month there was another post titled "Triumph Inspection Fail" based on crew-center, it turned out to be absolutely false. Personalty, I'll wait for the official report from the CDC before passing judgement.

    Fake Triumph report: http://crew-center.com/carnival-triumph-fails-usph-inspection

    I agree.
