    We wipe down the inside of the drawers , Just in case the last pax was using one of them for their dirty underwear drawer. We also wipe down the shelves, as you can see some pax use them to store their shoes on you tube videos, rather than leave them on the floor.

    Your welcome , but i wasnt the poster that posted the cruise , that was @taglovestocruise. They did the good deed. There are multiple youtube videos you can watch regarding the Allure. I was on it September 2022 and it was in good shape .Dont know what happened to the plants after that. Oasis is our favorite class , Enjoy the cruise !

    Thats good to hear , as i got an email to make arrangements for final payment. I never take the negative reviews too seriously anyway, and look forward to my Harmony cruise in a few months.

    Thats good advice to pay a little early . You get an email with your account showing paid in full soon afterwards. And that will confirm that there was no issues.

    If you dont have a reservation for the comedy show , it is very unlikely you will get in unless you are one of the first in the standby line. Oh , and it has been free as far as i can remember. And its the only show i really want to see , the other stuff not so much.

    As you are probably aware but worth mentioning , the Epley maneuver is beneficial for those suffering from vertigo. There are videos on youtube .

    Oasis class all the way , I like the layout over the Anthem . We only sail Oasis class now.

    Well, there is the ocean at Coco Cay that may appeal to some.

    When i first saw the plans for Oasis i couldnt wait to sail on it . Icon seems like a big waterpark on a ship. Great for families with kids.

    I have sailed most of the different classes of RC ships and decided Oasis class fits my needs . Icon class is over the top with all those slides which i dont utilize. Id go on Icon to take a look , but it would be one and done . Its geared towards people with young families and thats not us.

    I get them to staple my luggage tags onto my two pieces of luggage and give them a fiver . They seem to be happy and i am ok with that .

    We also stayed at the Riverside Hotel in September. Its right on the main strip with many restaurants and bars. It also has a great restaurant on site ( not free ) for breakfast prior to cruise . A robot delivered our breakfast order right to our table , lol . It was clean and quiet . We had a tower room which i believe is the newer part of the hotel.

    Yes , Icon prices are substantially higher than Oasis class , and although i would like to sail on it once , i can wait until things settle down. We prefer Oasis class anyway , but pricing is up on this class also. It appears that lots of people have the cruising bug.

    I booked a September cruise in January of this year , and its more than doubled in price for an oceanview balcony on Harmony. I have never seen than much of an increase happen before. As i look for future sailings , prices have certainly gone up quite a bit also.

    We usually scout for a table first and then one of us sits down while the other forages for food on embarkment day . My wife goes first as she eats slowly and then tries to find me . I go for my food after and that seems to work for us. Other days its not so bad .

    I wouldnt leave the carry on anywhere if you have meds or passports in there. You wouldnt want those to be misplaced .

    I do what firefly said , only to find my fall cruise on Harmony keeps going up and is now double what i paid in January.

    I saw a youtube video about a pax getting a shot of expresso and then topping it off with a cappuccino . Think im going to try that on my next cruise.

    I used to bring the sport coat too , now i leave it at home . I seem to blend right in with the shirt and pant look.

    Formal attire requirements are relaxed now. You can read a couple of threads on the subject in the first few pages of this site to get a feel for it . Enjoy your cruise !
