Actually , the concierge will contact you a week prior to sailing and they can make all the reservations for you if you dont want to bother with it.

I was able to make reservations for Harmony on a September sailing this week . As i recall most of the Oasis class ships were included for making reservations . The shows open up August 1 st for a September sailing. I believe the rules changed a little while ago . Check online or in the app . I used the website and logged in . Headliner show and comedy club were not available for booking just yet . The comedy club may open up a couple of weeks later.

You will get a confirmation email after you reserve your shows and check out .

I went online last night ( as the app still shows unavailable ) for my september Harmony cruise and was able to book 4 shows. Headliner and comedy club were not showng .

Update . I just checked after my previous post and they are open now around 11 pm . Confirmed , start of month before the month of the cruise. You just have to check at various times during the day. Not all shows available though ... no headliner and no comedy club yet.

I was hoping to book my shows for my september cruise today , but they are not available yet . I stayed up until midnight too . 🙂 Guess i have to check daily moving forward.

Worked out ok for me on Harmony last week. Checked in a few minutes after midnight , using the app on my iphone . Only selected my check in time and filled out the rest on my laptop later that day . I find that method works best for me as i dont have to get my passport info as i only want to select the time at that point.

Some very good advice here . Take the cruise with the included drinks and food , and then see if you need to add anything. Other than the gratuities , i spend very little on extras . As you cruise more with RC , you will eventually get up to Diamond level and thats when meaningful perks are included , such as 4 free drinks per day, and free expresso in the diamond lounge. 2 days of free internet also. Pays to be loyal to RC. Enjoy your cruise !

What is the process in Miami ( Harmony ) and what happens if you arrive a little later than your assigned timeslot there.

I have an opportunity to RU on Harmony , but i have a great oceanview balcony right now and there is no way i will risk getting a deck 14 cabin i will regret . And pay thousands more for it. I want to pick my cabin to avoid things i dont like.

I have two tags , and older link and an automatic carrera chronometer and my wife has the carerra chronometer with all the diamonds around the circumference . I bought them because i like the way they look. 🙂 I only bring the link with me when cruising and leave the carerra at home.My wife brings an alternate watch with her also.

Im on a september sailing and got an email june 23rd . I have a primo outside balcony spot and im not giving it up for a suite on the 14th deck under a pool. Thats what i see as available . And for and extra 3 to 4 grand to upgrade. I dont like the situation not knowing for sure what the location will be if i bid.

Oasis class ships keep me coming back . I liked the tutti salad in the mdr , but no deal breaker for me. Other than the high pricing moving forward that i dont like , i will still book , as i dont cruise that often.

Rent a car with a gas engine to get to the port and back ?

We have worked our way up the RC fleet and liked the Oasis class the best . Now i dont even look at other class of ship . Makes it easy when looking for a cruise.🙂 Dont care where its going as we cruise for the ship .

I got a reminder email from RC , so i paid that day . It was about 2 weeks prior to final payment date . I also had a personal reminder about the same time to pay . I never rely on others to do their job properly , so i do it myself. Nobody can look after me better than myself.🙂

Its good practice to pay it off earlier than the final day , just in case something goes wrong with the payment and it doesnt go through. I do what you do also , why leave it until the last minute.

Oh , they added a floor lol . I was in a crown loft on the Allure recently, and that was on the 17th floor . Thanks for the info. 🙂

I had a TA that would totally ignore my calls . Lost many dollars on price drops on a particular cruise. After that i booked direct with RC , as they were responsive with price drop requests. Having said that , i will contact a TA with my next cruise , and inquire about group rates , response times , royal up , and what ever else i can think of.

I have gotten two emails this week a few days apart . im about 75 days out

I hope you are right with Icon taking customers away from other ships. Other ships are what i am interested in and hopefully prices will drop on them.

I previously referred to that orange thing looking like a freight elevator stuck on the side of that ship. Icon still wins it though as pure ugly . Just saw a video of it and now i am less inclined to sail on it.

For me also would be a cruise out of curiosity , no rush to sail on it yet with the inflated prices . We settled on Oasis class , after having sailed several of the other classes . It would be a one and done for us also .
