I did inquire with Four Seasons through Live Chat. It will be a limousine. According to Live Chat, the driver will meet us outside of the airport. Due to security reasons, if we want the driver to meet us inside the airport, I need to inform the airline in advance and make arrangements or get some kind of pre-approval.

Did you pay with cash or credit card? If credit card, how much additional service charge for using the card? We will arrive on Monday morning also, probably also around 8 a.m. before getting to the taxi line. Was a long walk to the taxi line from exit of luggage pickup? Was it easy to get a taxi? The hotel that we will be staying offers private pickup for AU$140, is that expensive? Will be from airport to Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. Another option that I am considering is the Uber service. Is Uber pickup area in the same area as taxis pickup? Is it far to walk to get to Uber pickup after exit from arrival level? Thank you.

Is there usually a credit card surcharge to use credit cards at markets, taxi, restaurants, convenience stores? In my hotel booking, there is fine print indicating there is a 2% surcharge for paying with credit card. I am also trying to decide how much cash I should get at ATM at the Sydney airport. Will be staying in Sydney for one day pre-cruise.

We will be doing a Princess Transpacific cruise in early April. Our itinerary includes 3 NZ ports; Bay of Islands, Tauranga, and Auckland. We will appreciate any suggestions or information on the above mentioned ports on what is there to do or "must see/visit" . Thanks in advance!!

Thank you for the information! How soon can I apply for the Aus ETA and the NZ ETA for it to be still valid to use in April? Can I apply for it now? I know some countries, the visa is only valid for 3 months (some country even only good for 1 month) from the time of the approval of the visa.

My sister and I both need to apply for the Australia and NZ ETA for our cruise. Do we need to download the 2 apps on each of our own cell phone or I can just get the app on my cell phone and use it to separately apply for both of us?

In 1st week of April, I will fly to Sydney, stay in Sydney for a day, then will board Majestic Princess. The itinerary includes 3 New Zealand ports (will finish all NZ ports by April 10). I hold a U.S passport. I have a few questions for Australia and New Zealand visas. 1. Can I apply for ETA for both countries? 2. Can I apply online for both of the ETAs or must download an App? 3. I want to play it safe, so I would like to apply for the visa or ETA as soon as allowed, just in case there is a delay in processing. I read on another website that tourist visa for NZ and Australia can take 2 days to 20 days. So, how soon can I apply for the ETA for it to be still valid to use in April? Sorry, just want to confirm if I understood it correctly. So, there was liquid hand soap on the bathroom sink and not bar soap? I don't like bar soap and had always brought an empty liquid soap bottle with me and then ask the cabin steward to fill it up for me with liquid soap (on my last Regal cruise, he filled it with bath gel). On the Discovery Princess cruise I just got off last week, there was liquid soap and not bar soap on the bathroom sink.

Are you on the Discovery now? If so, have you tried using your LG universal remote and successfully got the HDMI connection. I got off from the Discovery last Saturday, and as I mentioned in my previous posts, during my 16 days on the Discovery, I tried everything I can think of, and still was not able to connect to HDMI. Now, I am thinking to buy the LG universal remote like others suggested, so I will be able to connect to HDMI for my next Discovery cruise in April. Before going to Amazon and try to find/buy that remote, it will be nice to know if having the remote will solve the connection problem. Thank you for any comments.
