Thanks! I think it'll be a great way to end the cruise.

Hi. Is there a certain route that picks up and come back to Bar Harbor downtown? Thanks.

Thanks! So much to see. And now we have the New France Festival that weekend, too. Do you know anything about that? I'm assuming it's all in French? I think I want to go see the falls, though.

We did it and it was great. Make sure you leave enough time to get back to the port. Traffic is wicked. We picked a few places to stop that looked interesting but didn't actually go in to any attractions or museums. Walked through the park, and on the Freedom Trail for a little bit and then picked up the bus at the next stop. Just be careful because one time the bus was packed and we couldn't get on. Long wait for an empty bus. Was thinking of doing it again this time but we don't get into port until 12 pm.

I have read the policy over and over again. It does say a positive test OR a letter of recovery so you should be fine if you get the letter. We had Covid so we are doing this now. Of course, my doctor's letter has my name misspelled. And it's not signed but has the Doctor's office name stamped on it. I hoping the positive test will be enough.

I've read this many, many times. According to this, all I need is printed documents of our positive tests. It's still a huge gamble and it's making me sweat. We qualify for all these things. I just need some reassurance from someone who is actually done it. I'm making everyone around me crazy. It sucked getting Covid but for this I can use it to my advantage (no other testing...)

Stanley Park Without A Car
takemeaway2008 replied to cantgetaname's topic in Canada (Alaska/Pacific Coastal)
We walked to the park from Pan Pacific. It was a nice walk but loooooong. Then we saw the carriage ride and did that. I enjoyed the carriage ride. We stopped at the totem poles. It was a nice way to see the park. We then walked back to the Weston and got a taxi back to the Pan Pacific. I don't know anything about the Brew Pub. -
Oh, man, a charge for the cheese plate? I love getting them for the balcony.

If you had Covid and recovered within 90 days of cruise, does it matter which test you tested positive with as long as it was medically observed? I have print outs of our positive antigen tests. Also, did you have the positive test results AND a Dr. note? Princess guidelines are unclear and it sounds like you only need the positive test paper. Thanks.

Not mobile impaired but find it slow and difficult to walk long distances. Hills are not my friend. My husband usually walks ten steps ahead of me because I'm so slow and I can't keep up with him. I do like narration and history and I would like to see the Falls. Maybe one day on the bus. Thanks.

Never heard about it when we were there on Celebrity. This time we are on Princess and arriving around 11 AM. Did the HoHo bus last time. Looking for something more casual this time.

We dock in Quebec at 1 PM and will stay over night on the ship. I'm looking for a short tour on the day we dock to get an over view of the city. Any suggestions? I was reading about the hop on hop off bus. They have a two day option. I was trying to figure out if I can get on the bus close to port. I couldn't find a good map of the route. Has anyone done this one? There's a bunch of loops and offer of a boat tour that are all included in the two days. Thanks.

Never mind. I think I found the answer below. Thanks. How do I delete a post?

I've seen references to a free shuttle in Boston from the pier. Anyone have more details on this? What time schedule is it on? Thanks.

No, St. Martins in Saint John, Canada (New Brunswick). We are stopping in both Halifax and Saint John. Thanks for your thoughts on Peggy's Cove. Our ship excursion is pretty short. We would like to walk around the Harbor walk too.

If you could choose one excursion to either Peggy's Cove or to St. Martins, which one and why? Two middle aged people, we can walk but some what limited in how far and how fast. My husband twists his ankle stepping off a curb so walking on unsteady ground makes me nervous for him. (I'll get there but I need a rest along the way...) The advantage of Peggy's Cove is that it only take less than four hours which gives us time to see other parts of Halifax. St. Martins would eat up time and our energy. Thoughts, anyone?
