  1. Grabbed a weather screenshot as ISLAND PRINCESS was at the Miraflores Locks. 😳 I can’t even imagine this heat AND humidity. It’s also why I decided to go the opposite direction so as to maybe hit these locks and the Guillard Cut in the ‘cooler’ 🥵 part of the morning. I’ll be passing here at the beginning of February 2025. 😳🔥🤯
  2. ISLAND PRINCESS on her World Cruise, this morning in the Gatun Locks… 😁
  3. Sorry about the two YouTube channels that are/were linked above. Apparently they run a Live cam each day and then it’s archived. I’ll post new links very early Wednesday as they appear. 🥸
  4. ICON’s 630am location, heading for Coco Cay (far left center). …and proximity to Miami 😁
  5. Updated ICON location. There’s a red X circled approx where Coco Cay is located. 😁
  6. On Coral Princess it is now part of the Princess Plus (2 meals) and Princess Premiere (unlimited) packages as a Casual Dining option 😁
  7. This would make me happy if it were the same for the PC cruise. 😎
  8. I can see why you really didn’t care for the ship. Personally I’m fine with most all of those NOT being on Coral Princess. Having only sailed on Princess twice in the past 11 years, those venues and aspects that are staples of other Princess class vessels aren’t really that important. I did book an aft interior cabin for easy access to those delightful tiered decks just to relax. And the specialty dining restaurants are enough to keep me happy. Wasn’t aware that smoke from cigarettes/cigars were so much an issue on Princess still?
  9. Just curious as to what it is about Coral Princess’ layout that you personally didn’t like. Anything you can warn me in reference? I’ve been studying the deck plans and watching a ton of YouTube ship tour videos, and other than the Lotus Spa/Fitness Center/Sanctuary access (which I’ll never use) it all seems straight forward. I’ve only cruised Ruby Princess and Royal Princess. Thanks for any heads up! 😁

  11. Last night in Ponce… (Image courtesy of PR Infroma FB and Ciudad de Ponce FB pages) “Thank you Ponce! The Icon of the Seas crew thanks the city for their hospitality before sailing off to Miami for the first group of passengers to enjoy the world's biggest cruise.”
  12. Thanks for the article, had me really concerned for a moment. Not flying in until Jan. 2025, so I should be safe. 😎
  13. Here’s a video from FB showing her repositioning sides. https://www.facebook.com/100063784830543/posts/pfbid02zr7B4pMRX1Mk8gcjECUbSSsksLeJyTc2EnKgfY5LvjduahHf8F9txZ9Di1dHczJxl/?app=fbl Screenshot of the Facebook post
  14. Brought it up in the old app and it does display the ‘other’ prices. 😁
  15. If you have FB check out these pictures showing some of the starboard side lifeboats being extended and lowered into the water. https://www.facebook.com/100045153182928/posts/pfbid02L1KaaBgR7Sfa1Kf769h6CFn3P8WdCvtz7c8RizTwizqNWUVSRo29UdDBkMzqrh2Ll/?app=fbl Image courtesy of Cruceros Puerto Rico FB
  16. Yes. She is undergoing her first full Coast Guard safety inspections. I did see pictures on FB of her starboard side lifeboats being lowered and tested.
  17. I did see that one. It would be nice just to start dreaming of what I’ll be dining on!
  18. THANK YOU for the link, great reading!!! 👍
