We are on a RC cruise to the Canaries in a few weeks. I'll tell them in Funchal, Kalos said that statue of Ronaldo looks like Alfred E Newman from Mad magazine. That should speed up your entry on your next visit to Madeira. 🤣

We fly to the Canaries on 2nd November and fly back on 13th. Could be interesting.🤔

I do feel for the safety of cyclists and electric scooterists . Dangerous place those roads. I guess that's why they go flying down the pavements and through the pedestrian area. Get out me way granny. Also if they stay on the roads it's much harder to sneak up behind people and nick their phones and bags. Poor old cyclists.

TBH, I find folk saying their car journey took too long as there are too many cars on the road a bit...confusing 🤔

We are on Anthem of the seas in a month. A little bit more than P&O, but not much. They get you on the drinks bill though. Our Loyalty status goes up after this one, so we will get 4 free drinks a day. That evens things up a bit. Just saw Avrils post. We are thinking of you Avril. Stay strong, we know you are.

Our friends encouraged us to Cruise for years..Gin and IT before dinner, eat with the Captain if you're lucky, or an officer will visit your table for a chat, a chance to dress up every night....not for us. Our first couple of cruises was with Ocean Cruises, then Ocean Village and NCL..Celebrity, P&O and RC are OK as you can skip the formal nights. We still dress formally when we cruise with the in-laws.. Cunard and Saga have no interest for us.
