  1. The good days are here. Ignore trivial problems. No stress. Enjoy things for what they are. Beautiful ships full of staff to feed you, change your towels every day and entertain you. The old days....Rickets. War..cars without electric windows, no thanks.
  2. Everything is, so there is no reason to moan. Nobody does that on here.🥳
  3. Club soda is carbonated water, soda water, seltzer. It predates Woke. Wikipedia will explain it.
  4. Our teenage neice and nephew are off to the Fjords for the third time. Their choice.
  5. DW often has club soda in RC and X. It's soda water.
  6. Have a great cruise Andy. You may find that folk can turn a small hiccup into a major crisis. Doormat of Woking.
  7. Not you Andy, but it started the usual debate about how incompetent P&O were. Some folk just love a bandwagon.
  8. Thanks. Do you remember the recent ' no coasters crisis '...If My wife gets a drip on her dress, I will never sail with them again.....if there isn't a coaster...ask for one, or is that being a doormat.🤣
  9. Lots of folk, us included enjoy many cruises on P&O with no problems worth mentioning . Some experience problems and tell us about them. Some pick up on a rumour about an alleged problem and flog it to death. The mustn't grumble culture is folk who don't see these little hiccups as something worth getting hot and bothered about. Stuff happens, some just deal with it. We have a BA flight in 2 weeks. If it goes belly up, we will deal with it.
  10. I'm not having a pop at you MB,far from it . I value your contributions. Some folk pick up on every little thing.....massive queues at Southampton...what will all those frail people do...sitting in the sun for hours....turns out not much of a queue and it moved quickly. Those folk never come back to say....whoops sorry, got it wrong .
  11. Difference of opinion. We cruised with Celebrity last year and couldn't open the door with the app. Wi-Fi kept dropping out anyway. We Cruised with Britannia last year and the app worked fine. Other folk ( not you ) pick up an any negative post and exaggerate. Horrendous queues etc, causing folk to talk about cancelling their holiday. That's not right, is it?. Fair criticism should be fair.
  12. I'm sure they and P&O dealt with it. Tech problems happen BA cancelled 80 flights due to IT issues. I'm sure nobody is laughing, but I'm equally sure most folk will enjoy their holiday, having dealt with any issues.
  13. Some folk join a queue and ask those in front ' what are we queuing for '?. Gareth Gates....oh. we're going to the 710.🤔
  14. Anyone not tech savvy must be getting frightened to death. The whole fleet is doomed. The app stopped working . Were there many folk who didn't get fed?.
  15. I wonder how many folk who say the app doesn't work have their settings wrong. Airplane mode on, Wi-Fi on. A bit frustrating for some folk, but generally not a P&O failure.
  16. We were sat sitting down in a bar waiting on the virtual queue. It doesn't seem to be moving much !. Swipe screen down....Oh!, going down now. Every five minutes...swipe down...table now ready....sorted. As you have said, problems happen. Deal with them and move on. It doesn't matter how many times folk come on here telling us all that Arvia only has 2 MDR,s, P&O won't build any more. As we eat in the MDR only some of the time, we can cope. Plenty of other choices to eat. We won't go hungry.
  17. You can only move it once and then only to a cruise of the same or higher price.
  18. The national trust one was a bargain. £10 to park the car for a day now.
  19. Perhaps when they flogged them they didn't expect ' lifetime ' would last as long.
  20. We have been in Britannia 3 times since lockdown and go again in December. Loved every minute.
  21. Years ago we went on ' Mr toads wild ride " the cars seat 2. DW and our young son in one, me by myself, alone in the next. Not my best memory of Disney.
  22. We do several different types of holiday,including cruises.
