The ship has only done the one trip to Haifa. For the most part she has sat at anchor just off the port of Limassol Cyprus, with occasional forays outside of territorial waters to the Southwest of the Island. Presumably to do whatever requires you to do it outside of territorial waters?

You would certainly like to think so. Sadly that isn’t the reality. The purchase is the cruise and any additional products that are offered and accepted. The loyalty programme is simply a concession that they provide purely as they see fit from time to time.

Under the general terms and conditions of the programme, they can withdraw in whole or in part any or all of the benefits or facilities with or without notice. They can also vary, solely at their discretion, any of the benefits or terms of the programme whenever they wish. The programme is free to sign up to. It is a concession that is entirely in their gift. 🤷‍♂️

You should receive them over the course of the next week. I have a cruise on November 06th where the cruise documents and luggage tags are available to print. I also have another a week later on the 13th that aren’t yet available. They will be imminently. Your luggage tags you will probably want to print in colour (Color?) The documents (which includes a luggage tag) you might want to print in Black & White. The cover page is a heavy drain on your Cyan (blue) ink cartridge!! 🤦🏻‍♂️👍

It’s tied to your passport number, so the printed copy is really for your own convenience. The problem with defaulting to an en-route disembarkation, is that mechanical, weather, or other disruption, can result in that port being skipped. Landing a passenger who is not properly documented can (and usually does) result in the carrier being fined and required to remove them from the territory. It is highly unlikely the carrier would risk accepting a passenger without the required documentation, but the ultimate decision lies with them?

What is the payment status showing on your application? As European_Cruisegirl has said, unless this is “paid” it treats the application as incomplete and won’t process it any further. It should also show a cutoff date when it will simply cancel the application unless you complete it. The fee is an application fee rather than an issuance fee, so it’s payable irrespective of the outcome. I suspect this is where your problem lies. Can you complete the payment on the website rather than an app? Although random applications are pulled for additional screening, I suspect completing the payment will resolve your problem. Fingers crossed!

Yes, I agree with you. We’ve taken or booked three additional cruises, that we had no intention of taking this year, just because the price was an absolute bargain. That said, most of the offerings are breathtakingly ridiculous! If people are buying at those prices (and presumably they must be) then I admire their business acumen, and if it was my company I would do the same. I am not sure it’s a truly sustainable position (and likely neither are they,) but in the meantime……Why not?

RCL’s Mediterranean cruising season is now in its last few weeks before all of the relevant ships head West across the Atlantic to Winter home ports in Florida. Notwithstanding the whole tragedy of the situation, it is unlikely that insurers would provide any realistic coverage for cruises to Israel or Egypt in the near term. I would expect to see cancellations of Rhapsody’s remaining cruises until it positions to Barcelona at the end of the month for its Transatlantic. Any cruises with planned stops in those two countries will almost certainly be re-routed. Yesterday Two Israeli citizens were killed by an Egyptian police officer in Alexandria. Within hours there is also likely to be a major refugee crisis on the Gaza/Egyptian border.

No! It is a “rock hard stone slab!” Ask for the topper which makes a huge difference. The mattress isn’t upgraded until you are in a GS or above. I found the sofa very hard and uncomfortable as well. That said, the extra room size (on a standard balcony) is noticeable and really does make a difference. On the Quantum class ships the extra large wardrobe space was redesigned to provide one and a half bathrooms, which we really loved. Still no shortage of wardrobe space with units either side of the bed as well as a standard fitted unit opposite the bed. Just spent 21 days on Anthem in a JS and really enjoyed it once we got the bed situation sorted out.
