Hampton Inn (Downtown Brickell) is a great hotel. It has the feeling of a small boutique hotel. We were pleasantly surprised.
-
Another great car service is, Aim Limo Rome. We've used them for airport transport and also for tours. A great company!

We would love an itinerary that left from San Francisco or Los Angeles/Long Beach, that cruised to Hawaii and the South Seas/RT.

The flip side of your opinion is that if 10 "happy" passengers, each tell 10 people, then a positive "reflection" of this ship will be shared. I would tend to think that that are more positive experiences on Reflection then negative ones. JMHO.

There was at one time a person who posted about how she got upgrades by using a blue light when she checked out the room. She was eventually banned.
We have also sailed with people who brag about getting perks for complaining.
One wrote a long letter about a speciality restaurant experience, was invited back for a free meal and then did not even leave a tip… classy.
Celebrity records passenger complaints and resolution on the passenger's profile. They too look for patterns.
Arno, I remember that woman's posts very well. Boasting on CC about your complaint antics, deserves consequences
I have never understood the "complaint" mentallity. If an issue needs to be corrected, a simple thank you and a smile is all that should be expected in return.

Have you tried booking your through Celebrity's Choice Air?

Anne, thank you for your review. We too felt that the food in MDR was excellent on Reflection.

I am just thankful that we have had the resources and health to cruise.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Well said. This is exactly how I feel. All the additional perks are icing on the cake.

Happy Thanksgiving Andy. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Well I am one that is grateful for the Elite Plus benefits. We've cruised with Celebrity since 1999, and at that time there wasn't much of a Loyality program. This didn't deter us in any way. We stay with Celebrity for the ambiance of the ships, and our selected itineraries.
I do like the additional internet minutes, and the added espresso, latte drinks.
For those of you that were expecting additional perks from Celebrity...maybe your expectations were a bit high.

Thanks for the input, gives me an idea of what to plan for in packing. Kinda of like North California weather at that time of year.
We live in No. CA. and we have found the weather in Barcelona to be very similar to our weather .

I doubt people are booking suites for reward points. The price difference is too great. Most people would book suites for the size of the cabin and the service. I can see why some would book Concierge if the price was close.
Completely agree with you. Suites are usually booked for their size.

The Renaissance Barcelona is a great hotel. It's located close to Paseo de Gracia. We paid $200.00 per night, through a "bidding" online site.

I was a sophmore in High School. I clearly remember feeling extremely sad.
-
We had a 10:00 am flight to JFK and onto to SFO, and we decided to stay an extra day in Barcelona, instead of experiencing a very stressful morning.
Everyone's decision should be based upon their own particular comfort level.

Bon Voyage Andy! Have a wonderful cruise!!

We've stayed in #2219, and really enjoyed it. Our friends had #2221 and we had the Butler open the divider on the balcony for us, to create a larger space.
We did hear some chair scraping from the above deck, but nothing to keep us awake. The shaded over-hang was also a plus. We usually had our breakfast on the balcony daily. And the views....to die for!

What is it like to sail solstice from Sydney to New Zealand to the Tahitian Islands & ending in Hawaii ?
This is a cruise we are thinking hard about for April 2015:D
It's wonderful!! We thoroughly enjoyed all the ports, and the balmy days at sea. By far, our best cruise experience.

Simply asked for beverages to be iced for when we returned to our cabin after excursions. Did not happen. Not once but twice. We tried to call him. Left message to contact us. Did not.
After second time and no response DH took ice bucket up to cafe and filled it with ice himself. And did so every day thereafter.
I may be way off base here...but have you ever given it a thought that YOU may be the common denominator regarding your negative experiences with Butlers?
We've had Butlers on previous cruises, and will again next week on Equinox, and in advance I know full well, that EVERYTHING won't be perfect. But then again...I don't expect perfection.
It's unfortunate that your cruising experiences on Celebrity has left you with a negative slant towards Suite dwelling.
-
I don`t think it is on any ship but the Infinity right now. I could be wrong. Hope to meet you for a drink in the Elite lounge next week. Heather
We'll be there!
-
Maggie, we're on the Equinox cruise with you next week, and there are some of us that will meet that criteria. I wonder if Celebrity will implement it only that particular cruise, or will give this new program some time to see if it's worth-while.

Also on that cruise and it was indeed one of the very best. I stayed for the May 6th cruise and learned that our TA was the highest rated in company history with 280 points. The RM told me that nobody rated the food as poor and only 4 as fair. The vast majority said the food was "excellent". The CD told me that this was one of his best experiences. Found the passengers to be really outstanding. The people make the cruise and this was a wonderful group of cruisers.
We too were on that TA, and I agree, the food was outstanding in the MDR and also the Speciality Restaurants. That cruise was as near perfect as I can remember. We had a wonderful voyage.
Equinox Sky Suite. Worth the extra $$$?

We enjoy Sky Suites for the additional closet and bathroom space. Everyone has their own individual needs, and if sailing in a smaller cabin works well for you...book that cabin. If you need more space...book the larger cabin.
