  1. You were given incorrect info. Only the TA can make cabin changes for you ( or any other changes for that matter).

As for the OBC, that may not show yet. Sometimes TAs offer it independent of what the cruise line is offering and they have to add it to your account. It won't show on the docs but will be in your stateroom when you travel.

Is there some urgency? Are you traveling next week?

  2. Now, I am confused. There is a regular bus, an express bus, and a shuttle? The shuttle isn't the same as the express bus?

I heartbda, you were referring to the shuttle or the express bus when you said it would be with the buses and marked " special"?

  3. I bring off sealed beverages and snacks so not disrespecting anyone. I have been on about 15 cruises all over the world and have never had a bag checked when leaving the ship. Getting back on, sure but NEVER getting off. It was just surprising.

  4. Do they actually check bags when you LEAVE the ship? I have never seen anyone in any port care what comes off the ship.

As for the Wharf pharmacy- what do you consider " pricey"? How much is a soda or bottle of water of sandwich?

As for the Whaft pharmacy- what do you consider " pricey"? How much is a soda or bottle of water of sandwich?

  6. Are they easy to find as you exit your ship? How do you find them specifically?

Is the cost always $7 pp one way? Do they leave quickly or is it usually a wait for them to fill up? Do they only go to Horseshoe Bay or is there one that goes to Elbow Beach? Do they stop along the way or just go direct? Thanks!

  7. Joining parents for Breakaway this Sunday as a surprise. Getting on about 1-2 hrs before them. Hoping to put together a quick 70th birthday package for Dad. Already bought a Slot Play coupon ($25 for $50). Is it possible to purchase a few entry fees for a lot and blackjack tournaments upon boarding? I was going to buy casino credit like they used to sell but I see it is gone from the NcL gift site now.

  8. Most major companies like NCL ( and Sandals, Disney, Princess to name just a few) do not allow discounting of their product. The price you see on- line is the price you will pay no matter who you book it through. Thus encouraging the use of travel agents ( why not, if you pay the same anyway) The only difference should be in incentives like OBC. Smaller agencies should be able to match or at least come close to what's being offered unless they are so "new" that they commissions are at the very lowest. TAs have gotten me the best upgrades and perks over the years because of their great contacts.
