  1. I to have a cruise booked for Sept 20th, and yesterday spoke to my travel agent who relayed the info from the Diamond Desk.

Carnival has extended my cancellation and it can be used any time in the next 12 months with no penalty. I also have a cruise booked on Radiance for its move from Florida to Galveston in 2021, but have no idea at this point what will happen there, I live in Galveston and the Port Authority here had a financial meeting and decided to not include any monies from the cruise lines this year in their upcoming budget.

  2. My daughter and I booked on deck 5, my only complaint was that having little kids running around on the dance floor after 7pm

should be stopped. The area should be adults only as advertised for the daytime, if you are going to pay the extra money then

it should be 24hours, not as it is now. Yes it was relaxing in the hot tubs and pool in the daytime, but to have kids walking thru a

nightclub area in the evening to go to a swimming pool was wrong. Just our opinion, would we pay the extra money again, I am

    not sure.

  3. I was on Breeze at Xmas and last October and have to do no salt. You can go to see the Maitre'd at 1:pm when people check out their tables and someone will discuss the menu with you. Each evening after that, they will bring you the next days menu at the end of your dinner so you can choose what you would like. My husband doesn't have to worry, so don't be surprised if the dinners (if you choose the same thing) look different when they are brought to the table.

I have high blood pressure and also had a stroke, so have to be careful of the sodium intake, but have been doing this for quite a while. The service is available so don't be afraid to make the request.

I hope you get to enjoy your cruise.

  4. More "Bells & Whistles" on Breeze, and more food venues on Breeze especially on the Lido Deck, but they only have a coffee shop for specialty coffees on deck five. It goes into dry dock in April and they will add an Alchemy Bar by the Ocean Lounge (where they hold dancing every night, but weren't sure if they would get a coffee bar on the Lido deck at this point. Hope this helps a little:)

  5. You can e-mail the Maitre,d with your table request (about one to two weeks before your cruise) be sure to include the reason (in your case) and yes include your booking number.

I'm not sure if special needs on your reservation page has somewhere to list this, but you can also visit with the Assistant Maitre'd on the first day (usually at about 1:00p.m. in the

(My Time Dining Room). it's the same area they do table requests on that day. In your case don't wait on your table request, but just double check on your food allergy, this is when I always do my "No Salt" (which is no where as critical as yours). They will take care of you:)

  6. They are in the middle of swapping everything from Liberty to Valor, cruise dates will not be affected, the e-mail I received indicated that things should be back to normal as far as bookings etc., should be done by the end of the month. Today we received the first confirmation of our cabin number on Valor, exactly the same as it was on Liberty for our B to B next Fall. It just gave us the top section of our booking confirmation, nothing else yet, hang in there it's a massive job swapping everything over, and Valor is a great ship:)

  7. Although we love Liberty, Valor is the ship that brought us back to Carnival with a fantastic 8 day cruise, we are very happy about the switch especially as we had a B-to-B booked on Liberty and now it will be Valor:) and we stayed with Carnival (even though we are D+ on Royal) and are now Diamonds on Carnival.
