  1. We have done Chichen Itza from Progresso, (2hrs each way on the bus)this has the tallest

Mayan ruin and the whole site is awesome. Also have done Chaachoban in Costa Maya not as

large as the other one, but equally as interesting for it's size, and Tulum from Cozumel. Not

sure if the spellings are correct, but we did all of them with the cruise line. We have also done tours with Victor Boden he is very good, reasonable price and takes care.

What ever you do you will enjoy the experience, they are all well worth the money charged:)

  2. We were on Freedom in May and yes they have American Table and we were not impressed,

plus the service was terrible and the food more cold than warm when it was finally delivered

to the table. We were not the only people with the same complaint, but we did talk to one

    couple who liked the menu.

It will also be implemented on Magic in August and Triumph, according to our Maitre'd on

Triumph this past week, as he is going to Magic to do this. It is a very different concept and

they have had some problems getting it to work right.

  3. The Maitre'd on Triumph said he is going to Magic in August to implement American Table. We were on Freedom in May and it was terrible, we had cold food half the time and lousy

service. It will also be on Triumph in August when the Maitre'ds change over and Elvis comes

back to Triumph from vacation (both of them are great Maitre'ds).

  4. On a B to B guest service will send you info on what time to go down to them and you will

be escorted to customs & immigration then straight back on the ship. You will also receive

your new sail & sign card, and you are the first ones to be able to go to the Buffet, and yes you are right all your things stay in the cabin , but you will get a bill for each half as if you were getting off the ship. :)

  5. It's also official in Galveston:)

We re due 3 ships permanent, Breeze (Nov '16) Freedom is already there and Triumph is going to New Orleans when Liberty comes from San Juan. I haven't been able to find out where Magic is going when Breeze comes in.

  6. Riley's Mom,

If you go into the National Weather site you can check the weather up to 10 days ahead and Galveston looks like the 60's, and Cozumel the high 70's. Be sure you have an umbrella for Coz as you can have rain showers, but also be prepared for it to be a little warmer than it says. We have cruised at Xmas and it can feel cold in Galveston due to the fact you are by the ocean and it's often breezy. Have a great trip:)
