  1. You will find more amenities on either Magic or Dream especially for your family. RCl doesn't handle embarkation or debarkation as efficient as Carnival and the food on Navigator hasn't been first class. They do not open their buffet dining before time, whereas if you like to go there early and have a quite cup of coffee or continental breakfast or lunch etc.,then you will prefer Carnival. We are D+ on Royal, but do not care for Navigator, and are Platinum on Carnival and have sailed on Magic many times. Which ever you choose enjoy your cruise.:)

  2. We have done several b to b's on Triumph and yes you do have to go to immigration in between the cruises but ships personnel escort down and back. Your sea pass account is cleared each time and if you have to change cabins your room steward will usually help with that to make it easier. I know you are not sailing Carnival, but I think procedures are about the same.

  3. Anyone on board heard what is happening with Triumph in February 2015? We were looking forward to our February cruise which they wanted to change to Magic, have nothing against

Magic but really would like to know if they are going to do something different with Triumph.

The weeks involved are February 9th to March 14, so anyone either on board or going today

    can you find out?

  4. This cruise is just what was mentioned by a group of officers that Carnival was working on,

but at that time were not sure if it would be introduced or which ship.

(we had mentioned that a lot of people really wanted something different from Galveston).

We are really thrilled with what they have put together, as we to didn't want the hassle of

flying to or from San Juan, so have put a hold on a cabin BtoB.:)

  5. We heard from the dock workers in Galveston that a 3rd Carnival ship was rumoured to be

placed in Galveston, then on our Triumph cruise in February at the past cruisers get together,

they announced Freedom will be coming to Galveston for a total of three ships.

Royal will also be replacing Navigator with a larger ship next spring. The Port Authority is

working on building a third terminal as Princess also wants to come back to Galveston.
