Jimbo5554,
Sorry to be off the point but can you tell me about the Milestone Cruise, I counted and it
appears to be something you achieved after 20 cruises. Can you tell me what you receive.
I am getting very close to that number of cruises and wonder what it is all about and
could'nt find it in their website.
Thanks.:)

Joybaby, the schedule shows a Gary Brierley.

You will find more amenities on either Magic or Dream especially for your family. RCl doesn't handle embarkation or debarkation as efficient as Carnival and the food on Navigator hasn't been first class. They do not open their buffet dining before time, whereas if you like to go there early and have a quite cup of coffee or continental breakfast or lunch etc.,then you will prefer Carnival. We are D+ on Royal, but do not care for Navigator, and are Platinum on Carnival and have sailed on Magic many times. Which ever you choose enjoy your cruise.:)
-
We just came back from Jewel and there was no dinner with the Captain on this either:(
-
Ours has only two for our Feb14 cruise
-
Galveston webcams shows it in backwards next to Navigator it didn't turn around before
docking in Galveston.:)

You need them for Panama if you fly in to the city, but Colon is a good 45 min drive from there down the new freeway, this is the only time we had to get one as we stayed downtown in Panama before we cruised. You do not need one at the other ports either.

We have done several b to b's on Triumph and yes you do have to go to immigration in between the cruises but ships personnel escort down and back. Your sea pass account is cleared each time and if you have to change cabins your room steward will usually help with that to make it easier. I know you are not sailing Carnival, but I think procedures are about the same.

Thanks for the info so far, that type of trip would be fantastic, and used to be available
on the old Celebrity Galaxy a long time ago.:)
-
Anyone on board heard what is happening with Triumph in February 2015? We were looking forward to our February cruise which they wanted to change to Magic, have nothing against
Magic but really would like to know if they are going to do something different with Triumph.
The weeks involved are February 9th to March 14, so anyone either on board or going today
can you find out?
-
We have friends that work on the ship and they were going to be on there in February so
we would have been able to see them. We are going on Magic in October and so it wouldn't
be the same if we went back on there in February. We have nothing against Magic we enjoy
cruising on her it's just this one on Triumph was special.
-
The thing is that the last booking available for Feb15 is Feb 5th and the next one is into March?
-
They have changed our Feb 23rd booking to Magic, no new booking number and the cabin
assigned is in the same position as we had on Triumph, but I'm not totally happy so don't
know if I will stay with it. Would sure like to know where Triumph is going that week.
-
We were also booked on Triumph Feb 23rd and our TA got the same letter canceling the booking this morning, but we haven't heard anything else as yet.
-
We are sailing on Jewel and believe me at that time of the year you will be glad of the shade it provides, tell her not to worry:)
-
Jen confirmed she will me on at least thru 5/29/14, not sure after that:)
-
Can you please say where you are seeing the info on the repo and the cruises, looked on their website and couldn't get anything to come up.:)
-
Does anyone know if the new cruise director list is out yet as Jen mentioned there could be lots of changes.
-
Has anyone seen the new cruise director schedule? I tried to find it but couldn't, thanks:)

This cruise is just what was mentioned by a group of officers that Carnival was working on,
but at that time were not sure if it would be introduced or which ship.
(we had mentioned that a lot of people really wanted something different from Galveston).
We are really thrilled with what they have put together, as we to didn't want the hassle of
flying to or from San Juan, so have put a hold on a cabin BtoB.:)
-
We heard from the dock workers in Galveston that a 3rd Carnival ship was rumoured to be
placed in Galveston, then on our Triumph cruise in February at the past cruisers get together,
they announced Freedom will be coming to Galveston for a total of three ships.
Royal will also be replacing Navigator with a larger ship next spring. The Port Authority is
working on building a third terminal as Princess also wants to come back to Galveston.
-
Yes there are porters available, and they will be only to glad to help you.
-
We were on Carnival in February, and at the past cruisers celebration they announced they
were bringing a third ship to Galveston (Carnival Freedom) but weren't able to give a date.:)
-
We were just on Triumph and during our Top Tier Welcome Back they announced that there
will be three ships in Galveston, the edition being Freedom that will be doing 7 day cruises.
As of yet they did not give a moving date. :)
