  1. Someone else will probably correct me if I'm wrong but when I see this I assume that the meeting point is where you go when you shall disembark so after that you can't do anything more on the ship.
  2. It's included with the package included in the YC.
  3. Is it still the "standarditinerary" then? (Barcelona-Marseilles-Genova-Napoli-Messina-Valetta-day at sea-Barcelona) We disembarked in Barcelona three weeks ago and the latest time for disembarkation with MSC transfer was at 2 pm. I assume that it's possible to stay that late without MSC transfer too.
  4. Go to Coffee Emporium on deck 8 for great cappucino! It's worth leaving the YC!
  5. What ship and date? Are you sure that people can't embark/disembark in Valetta?
  6. For cruises from NY or Florida it should be the same thing for me but I should still never book cruises that way. The biggest difference may be that in Sweden everyone has at least 25 days of vacation! Can you believe that, 25 days! Everyone!
  7. I should never book it so that I missed the last night on one cruise to be able to catch another cruise.
  8. I don't really remember for sure but I also think that MSC assign more staff to ensure that boarding during the cruise is easy for YC. They seemed to have staff everywhere where a line could form to ensure that YC passengers didn't had to wait! That was worth much on our Mediterranean cruise this summer because it was superhot and very nice to cut all lines! People not in the YC seemed less happy about it! Some people said things, to staff not to us, and some just looked but why should I care, I had paid for that perk!
  9. Personally I should never skip one day at sea and two nights on the ship to be able to do that but people are different and of course that's okay!
  10. The DCS should be much higher on MSC, much more staff! We ate one late lunch in the YC Bar & Grill. I saw six passengers and nine member of staff! Maybe a few more passengers on the sundeck but very few, too hot!
  11. I really can't understand why anyone wants to do it but it's absolutely possible to do on cruises with embarkation/disembarkation in every port.
  12. It was many years since we cruised in the Haven but I really prefer MSCs Yacht Club. Everyone in the YC have most drinks included so no need to show your card when ordering drinks within the YC. I don't know if everyone has to show the card in the Haven when they know you have a package. Not everything they serve in the YC restaurant is perfect but overall I think that the food is better in the YC. Most important, a new meny every day. Minibar included in the YC. Drinks from roomservice included in the YC. (Assume that NCL has a package that include roomservice and minibar.)
  13. I'm trying to understand the reason why the formal night wasn't the day before the sea day which it was on MSC World Europa. Now I know that it wasn't the typical week after week roundtrip they often have when people are embarking in every port. Then all logistics is different.
  14. Did you disembarked in Genoa? Was the itinerary for those embarking in Valletta Valletta-Siracusa-Genoa--Marseilles-sea day-Valletta?
  15. I think that when people embark in every port the Gala night is normally the day before the seaday, probably so that noone has the Gala night as their last night onboard. (I'm only guessing but it was that day on MSC World Europa three weeks ago.)
  16. Do you have one day at sea? If yes, the "formal night" will probably be the day before the day at sea. That's how it is on MSC World Europa, with one day at sea and people embarking in every port.
  17. I said "most likely" because we don't know anything about the departure time or when the ship will arrive in port. The ship may arrive after lunch and then I think it's too early to arrive before noon.
