I sail next week and the medallion app still shows wifi at full price. The website shows this: Unlimited and Affordable Internet Choose from one-device or four-device packages, starting at just $9.99 USD when you purchase pre-cruise through the MedallionClass app. Platinum and Elite guests get an exclusive discount of 50% off.* *Discount will be applied on board in the form of an onboard credit. I hope it’s refundable. I’m skipping buying the wifi this trip and will hotspot my phone. Unless I can buy it at the elite $5 daily price on board but don’t have much hope they’ll do that.

I’m on this cruise too and got the notice this morning. I figure as a frumpy, overweight, middle-aged grandmother with a fondness for crocs I’m pretty safe from the cameras! I hope the filming is not disruptive but I’m also interested in seeing what they’re doing. I also know that if I happen to get caught in the background, I’ll be a) wearing a swim suit b) taking a bite of something bad for me c) bending over with my butt in the air d) doing the myriad other embarrassing things that make up my life

Oh I should have been more clear. In my head I meant if there’s any at the pools. Sorry about that!

Ceilidh, thank you for doing this. You’re an OCD planner like myself! I board on the 27th. I’m wondering if there are kids life jackets if you get a chance to check. I’m sorry about BFF, she’s being rude. I’m hoping she just wanted to tell someone how great it is. But to skip dinner? The fettuccine has me drooling. I’m interested in the elite letter you got that says we get wifi half off. I’m wondering if I can buy it for the half off price on board and not pre purchase at full price and get OBC for the rest which may or may not be refundable. From the sounds of it, I’m better off using data instead. For years I cruised in an interior with three teenagers. My kids are grown now but those are some of their favourite memories (mine too). I hope BFF figures it out and that you and your kids have the best time!

I totally agree with Thrak, another reason why this ship doesn’t appeal to me. I liked that me with my lowly interior can eat and mingle with the hoity toity suite folks. 😁 But look! According to the deck plans, Princess finally has cabins for solo travellers … a whopping four of them. (Deck 10). And they’re interiors. Now I’m usually in an interior but I thought there’d be more and more variety.

I booked a great deal on my own, knowing a ‘real’ TA wouldn’t be able to discount it by much. The next day, my CVP called and chewed me out for not booking with her! OP, I wouldn’t know if I was having trouble contacting her as she rarely responds ever and can’t answer questions when she does respond.

They can find the time the ship is scheduled to arrive on the website. Go to their booking, then itinerary and at the bottom says what time the ship gets in. A couple of days before disembarkation they will get the notice for what group they’re in and what time they can leave the ship. I hope they had a great time!

I did. I was still getting the error message above and called my assigned pvp (first time using her) who was able to book it for me. milolii, I booked the Royal out of San Francisco too!

Yeah, they’re back… until I try to book. Then I get “something has gone wrong and we’re not able to continue to the next step”

My CB cruise round trip FLL is back…. The 0% single supplement is now 100%

My 6 saved cruises in October and November are unavailable. Sapphire, Diamond, CB, Island… I thought Princess was raising the prices before the $1 deposit sale. 😛

I think its a mistake as when I go to book, the price shown on the first page comes up a few dollars less when I choose one guest. Its for the Caribbean Princess in November 2022. I was looking at 10 days roundtrip FLL. The first (cruise details) page for Nov 13 shows $724 CAD for an interior. Select room type/ one guest, the price goes to $718. The port charges are exorbitant but at least the cruise isn't costing double! I'm checking out some more cruises to see if it happens elsewhere. I have a FCD that is begging to be used! Edit: Caribbean Princess Aug 5, 2022 - 10 days $911 CAD. After saying one guest its $924. I like not paying a supplement! I've got some more researching to do!

I was on the Grand on the coastal cruise before drydock and the wifi worked fine. Also, FYI, the food was great and I didn’t notice smaller portions. I thought the ship was in good shape and wondered why it needed a long drydock.
