Nope. There are always posts on here wondering if it worth it. This one was for the reasons we think it is worth it. Sorry, it wasn't your cup of tea. It was just a rationalization post. Happy Sailing!

But here I am pricing out a CHEERS package for two people for a 15 day cruise from NYC on the Venezia. It is gonna be $1980.76, but I am okay with this for the following reasons: 1. Don't have to worry about our bar bill while cruising 2. There are 7 sea days, so plenty of opportunities. 3. I know myself and my wife always break even for the day including waters, coffees, sodas, etc.. 4. Using 10% off gift cards from Allstate, so additional savings there. 5. Peace of mind. I'm not going to try and lie to myself and say I won't drink that much. I know it is to each, their own. It is a large upfront cost, but one which I believe is worthwhile for US. Cheers! Dan

Is it difficult to get a cab after the cruise to LGA? Two people + luggage?

You are correct with this point. I only have 100 shares for this benefit. And I really didn't think it could get much lower than when I bought it. However, if I cannot get the $100 or $500 off my cruise I may just sell them and take my $300 profit and treat it as getting the benefit 3 times. But I really want the $500 on the long cruise.😁

Trying again this morning for the 2nd time. We don't sail until September so I have time. But I received the same response as posted above. Maybe this 2nd time will be the charm. We are doing a 15 day Journeys cruise from NYC on the Venezia so $250 would be nice!

I play table games. Mostly Roulette and Craps. Occasionally BlackJack. I will sit next to my wife while she plays slots so we can hang out together. HOWEVER, I am very observant and will offer to get up if ANYONE remotely looks like they want to play. Sidenote: I've never sat in a chair staring at a bed. LMAO 🙂 🤣

They will be in your mail slot. You can buy a drink beforehand with your boarding pass. IF someone takes your card and buys something, then it will get refunded. Never had this happen to us. Enjoy your cruise!

That's awesome! We have our flights to there free with points from wife's work travel. One night in Manhattan hotel free from her work travel as well. Seeing if she will accrue enough points between now and then to get free flights home (Texas). But you're right..... you couldn't beat that cost for 15 nights anywhere, really. 🙂

Well, We are flying into LGA on Thursday. Staying one night a few blocks from Times Square using Wife's hotel points. We will UBER or TAXI to the port. 🙂

Count me in as well. We did a spur of the moment cruise right before the Covid shutdown. No excursions. Just Cheers and the ship. One of our best trips ever. Hope yours is a truly relaxing and wonderful adventure! Dan
