It's switching to a TA, not cancelling. So, no.

Thank you good sir!

Just to clarify, if I want to switch my booking from Princess to a TA, do I have to pay my deposit again?

Best mini-suite on the Royal is M107. Right on top of the bridge.

We used Rome in a Limo. Very reasonable and you can customize your itinerary.

I love trying beers from every country I visit. I always pick up a few bottles in each port I have never had a problem bringing them on board.

Warning with American Airlines. We picked our seats, but when I went to check the reservation, American wanted $71 per seat as they now deemed the seats "premium". For the price we booked we would get the middle section. The layout is 2 - 4 - 2. Since we are on two long flights, Philadelphia to Barcelona and Rome to Philadelphia, we paid the extra to get the 2 seats. I would have never known they moved us if I didn't check.

Are these tours on every ship? I'll be sailing on the Coral.
It sounds really interesting !!
I took the tour on our Panama Canal cruise in November on the Coral.
-
No, the package is only available the first couple of days of a cruise and then it's not available anymore. We buy it before we cruise.
It's the same price on board as pre paying (they add gratuity to it regardless of how you pay).
So, if you do want the package, buy it right away. If you wait until you are on day 2, there is no credit offered and you pay for the whole thing (from what I have heard).
On our 15 day LA to Fort Lauderdale Panama Canal cruise over thanksgiving, I was able to buy the package on the second day and it was prorated.

Just checking to see if there are any updates on whether access to the balcony is restricted in any way?
We will be in this cabin for the Barcelona - Rome 7/16 - 7/23 cruise and hope we can be out there every morning and every night for the sail away..
If any one has any photos or videos of this particular cabin, thank you in advance!!

I don't know if this was specific to my 15 day Panama Canal cruise in November, but I bought the package the second day and it was prorated.

We did the 15 day LA to Fort Lauderdale on the Coral over thanksgiving. We were in D705. Lots of vibrations. Constant. But it kind of rocked me to sleep each night.
-
I paid $125 on the Coral Princess on our Panama Canal cruise this past thanksgiving. I got a robe, picture frame, four photos, a cloth grocery bag and personalized stationery.
-
Same price regardless.....
None of the drink packages are pro rated so it does not help to wait and purchase a couple of days later.
This was not the case on our 15 day Panama Canal cruise on the Coral Princess over thanksgiving. I bought it on the second day and it was cheaper.

Yes the signal is local and quite strong the entire way. ;)
Awesome. Thanks Keith!!

Keith,
Do you know if the ships cell towers are turned off while going through the canal?
I guess the canal is a unique location.
I was wondering if there is cell coverage there and if the ship turns off its cell tower.
I have unlimited call/text and international data in Panama.
Thanks in advance.

Keith,
We are taking this same cruise in November. Do I need to get local currency or can I just use dollars?

I'm going to beg a favor from someone. I'm doing this cruise Nov. 22nd and would love to see the patters, it will help me figure out what night I wish to do the ultimate balcony dining and a few other things. But there is no hurry so post cruise would be just fine. If anyone on board has the time and know how please.
Thank you Keith for the "live" thread. It is of great interest to me.
We are going on this cruise. Are you on our Roll call?

Any ideas on offers on a 15 day cruise?
-
We were there in 2012. Our building had a laundry room. It was a great opportunity to meet people. We bought some beer in Denali, because the lodge in McKinley is very isolated, and made a few new friends in the process.

My Wife and I are in our late thirties. We used to cruise Carnival, but the craziness was to much. We switched to Princess for Alaska and the British Isles. Our next is a 15 day Panama Canal cruise in November. We prefer the quiet, relaxed environment that Princess offers.
-
We did the 12 day British Isles cruise this past September. We arrived, got to the baggage claim and waited maybe 20-30 minutes.

We are doing the 15 day LA to FL in November on the Coral. Go big or go home!!

We stayed in M107 and the balcony was big enough for at least 25 people. I loved the window in the bedroom.
