BTW.  I’m no stranger to Wisconsin.  I’d much rather swim in Lake Mendota in May than a beach with that much algae.  But maybe I’d change my mind if I spent winters near you.  😄 

 

I'd rather swim in a bathtub full of tuna algae than Lake Mendota anytime of year.  It's lovely to look at every day on my way to work but not so great for swimming anymore. 😂

We have beaches in Wisconsin too, you know.  We just have to wear snowsuits instead of swimsuits most of the year and have ice instead of algae.  🤣  So any chance we get to be near/in warm water, we have to take advantage of it.

The beach club itself is beautiful and the food and drinks are amazing.  When we were in Costa Maya, there was algae at every beach; it's not like this beach club was the only place that had it. It was either stay at the port and go in the pool with everyone else, or go to a beautiful beach for the day.  No brainer. They limit the number of people who can come each day and it was nice to be away from the busy ship.  I'm looking forward to going back when hopefully the algae isn't there.

We had that issue when we were there 4 years ago.  We had booked a beautiful beach club and they offered us the chance to cancel, but we went anyway.  My husband decided he wanted to go in the water, so we climbed over about 15 feet of the algae and then the water was beautiful.  Getting out was gross lol --it felt (and smelled) like you were walking in a large thing of tuna.

You should be able to go to their website and sign up for the international plan for the days that you're there.  It will walk you through it--you enter where you are going and the dates and it should give you some options--probably $10/day.

Thanks!  This might be just what I need to convince my DH.  He isn't sure he's ready for a 7 night cruise, but I think I can get him to do 4 nights.

Good morning.  We are heading out on Majesty on Thursday and our reservation is connected to our friends' reservation.  We have both checked in online.  I downloaded the app and it is showing their cabin number and reservation number instead of ours.  I have signed out and back in a few times and it's still doing this.  Any suggestions?

On some ships you must distinctly sign out one device before you can connect the next device.  On most ships when you sign in on any device, it kicks off the previously connected device.  

We are planning to get the 2 device plan.  I assume that this means that we can be on 2 devices at once?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I couldn't find it anywhere.  If we get Voom for 2 devices, can our friends who are in another cabin use it too, or is it specific to the cabin?  Could I be on one device and our friend use another?  Or can only my husband and I use the code on our devices?  Thanks!

We will be returning a car at the Enterprise at Port Canaveral before our Majesty cruise in May. What's the best way to get to the ship from the car rental return? Is there a shuttle? Can you walk it?

They have a bbq lunch--ribs, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit and some things like that. No need to go back to the ship. You'll have to take a "tender" over to CocoCay, so it's kind of a hassle to go back and forth. You'll want to bring everything with you.

I like to rent a beach lounger. They are located on the quieter side and have a bar right next to them--plus you have shade.

You can rent kayaks, but I think you have to do a guided tour--I'm not 100% sure on that. You may be able to rent them by the hour.

I love Coco Cay as a quiet beach day.

Does anyone have a recent compass for the 3 night Majesty cruise? I found one for February, 2017--I don't know how often they change.

I don't think you need a reservation for anything like that..

I was looking at an old Compass for a Majesty cruise and it said to call the spa to reserve a time. It's been my experience that it's pretty difficult to just walk in and get a massage on board--I've tried twice and they've been all booked.

Does anyone know if I can reserve a beach massage on Coco Cay in advance or if I have to wait until I'm on the ship? I tried to find the option in my reservation and can't find anything.

Can I get a massage on Coco Cay, and if so how to I sign up for it? It looks like I can only reserve one online at the spa on the ship.
