Zip Lining and Luau Larry's :)

I was on the Triumph in May. Our air never worked. Our room was so hot we could barely be in the room. They came out every day to check it but it never worked. Ship full, no cabin to move to. Carnival gave us 15% off future cruise!

If you are up for some Zip-Lining, try Los Veranos in PV. Great time! The ship does have a zip-line excursion, but it's with a different company. Los Veranos gets all positive reviews here.

I love the Zip Lining at Los Veranos. The staff is amazing!

Go to buffet and get cheese and crackers and have a nice glass of wine on your balcony in the evening! Also bring clips to hold down towels or wet swimsuits to your chairs. Enjoy!

Are you interested in history? The Mayan ruins of Chitchen Itza and Uxmal are both in that area. We booked directly through the cruise line. With the travel time and excursion time combined it was a long day but well worth it.

 

It was a good thing I booked it through the cruise line. Our bus got stuck in traffic on the way back and we were about 45 minutes late getting back to the ship.

 

Very glad we hadn't booked with a private company. I'm not sure the ship would have waited for us.

Thanks, I live on West Coast and have been to Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada a million times so the vendors don't get to me. I believe any place you go that u make the best of that place. Us girls have a good time Anywhere. Thanks for info. Would luv to see more pics.

Imagination is a year older than Inspiration, but both were dry docked in the fall (Sept and Nov respectively). Plus, they are sister ships. If you are trying to decide which one to cruise on, I would suggest picking the itinerary (which will be similar - but different days of the week) that best meets your needs.

Hi Bob, I have also cruised many times on West Coast / Mexico( I live in So Cal) as I do not like to fly. I have decided that there are so many places to see that I must fly. I am booked on 2 Caribbean cruises this year and also went last year. I went on Inspiration 2 years ago. This is a gift from my sis for my bday so most important is our time together as we have been to these ports many many times. I appreciate your help as I was not sure which ship had the most recent upgrade.

On our last trip to Cozumel we organized a group from our cruise to do the Cozumel Bar Hop. The other side of the island is beautiful, the staff is wonderful. Taking our friends next year. Can't wait. Cheers

One of my best travel purchases was a large personal toiletry organizer from L L Bean. I have had it for 5 years so far and many trips, including 10 cruises. It has a hook for hanging, so I don't have to unpack it.

I had cards (business card like) made from vista print for free. They have our personal info name, email etc. We call them our friendship cards. When we make new friends and want to keep in contact we give them our card. Much easier than all the napkins I have collected over the years with names and emails of my new friends I have made at sea :p
